 RE: ALL ABOUT LAWNS INC., PERMIT # 19120373
 THESE PLANS WERE REVIEWED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE, SIXTH EDITION. ALL
 REFERENCES TO NFPA 1 OR NFPA 101 WITHIN THIS CODE SHALL
 BE THE FLORIDA SPECIFIC VERSION OF NFPA 1 AND NFPA 101.
 THE FOLLOWING ISSUES NEEDING TO BE ADDRESSED:
 1. SEPARATION BETWEEN OCCUPANCIES. THERE IS A STORAGE
 OCCUPANCY ON THE SECOND FLOOR, AND A MERCANTILE,
 BUSINESS, AND INDUSTRIAL OCCUPANCY ON THE FIRST FLOOR.
 (NFPA 101, 6.1.14)
 2. THE STORAGE OCCUPANCY NEEDS TO DEPICT AN ORGANIZED
 STORAGE ARRANGEMENT. (NFPA 1, 10.18)
 3. THE MERCANTILE, STORAGE, AND INDUSTRIAL OCCUPANCIES
 NEED TO CLASSIFY THE HAZARD OF CONTENTS. (NFPA 101,
 36.1.5), (NFPA 101, 40.1.5), AND (NFPA 101, 42.1.5)
 4. UNABLE TO DETERMINE STAIR DETAILS SUCH AS RISER
 HEIGHT, TREAD DEPTH, HEADROOM CLEARANCE, AND HANDRAILS.
 (NFPA 1, 1.14)
 5. UNABLE TO DEPICT MEASUREMENTS FOR THE SECOND FLOOR
 TO DETERMINE CODE COMPLIANCE. (NFPA 1, 1.14)
 6. THE SHOWROOM NEEDS A SECOND MEANS OF EGRESS. (NFPA
 101, 36.2.4)
 7. SECOND FLOOR NEEDS EMERGENCY LIGHTING AND AN EXIT
 LIGHT. (NFPA 101, 36.2.9 AND 36.2.10)
 8. PLEASE NOTE ANY PROPOSED FIRE BARRIERS WILL REQUIRE
 A UL DESIGN AND MUST INCLUDE PROTECTION FOR OPENINGS
 AND PENETRATIONS. (NFPA 101, 8.3)
 I AM RETURNING THESE DRAWINGS TO YOUR OFFICE WITHOUT
 FIRE CODE APPROVAL. PLEASE HAVE THE ENGINEER OF RECORD
 ADDRESS THESE FINDINGS.
 ALSO, ADDRESSING THESE ISSUES MAY SPUR FURTHER FIRE
 CODE REQUIREMENTS. THAT SAID, I WOULD BE WILLING TO
 MEET WITH THE APPLICANT TO HELP THEM STREAMLINE
 COMPLIANCE.
