 I HAVE REVIEWED THE PLANS FOR THIS PROJECT AND THE
 FOLLOWING ITEMS NEED TO BE ADDRESSED FOR RESUBMITTAL OF
 PLANS;
  
 1: A SECONDARY MEANS OF EGRESS WILL HAVE TO BE ADDED TO
 THE “DEN” IN UNIT 2.
 2: COMBINATION SMOKE CO2 DETECTORS WILL HAVE TO BE
 ADDED WITHIN 10’ OF ENTRANCE TO SLEEPING AREAS.
 3: A SERVICE OUTLET WILL HAVE TO BE ADDED WITHIN 25’ OF
 A/C CONDENSING UNITS.
 4: NOTE 6 ON FIREWALL DETAIL STATES “PERIMETER MAY BE
 CAULKED WITH SHEETROCK BRAND ACOUSTICAL SEALANT.”
 PERIMETER WILL HAVE TO BE CAULKED WITH FIRE RATED
 CAULK. REMOVE NOTE 6 AND ADD FIRE CAULK NOTE.
 5: ADD NOTE TO ELECTRICAL PAGE STATING THAT ALL
 ELECTRIC TO MEET NEC 2014. (ARC FAULT PROVISIONS AND
 DISHWASHERS AND WASHING MACHINES GFCI PROTECTED.)
 6: OUTLETS WILL NEED TO BE ADDED IN FRONT BEDROOMS BY
 CLOSETS TO PROVIDE OUTLET WITHIN 6’ OF DOOR ENTRY.
  
 PLEASE MAKE THESE ADDITIONS/CORRECTIONS TO PLANS ALONG
 WITH FIRE COMMENTS AND RESUBMIT PLANS FOR APPROVAL.

 I HAVE REVIEWED THESE PLANS FOR CONFORMANCE WITH THE
 FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE, 6TH EDITION, AND NEED THE
 FOLLOWING ISSUES RESOLVED:
 1. THIS BUILDING IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A SUPERVISED
 AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM. (SEE LIFE SAFETY CODE
 30.3.5)
 2. SMOKE ALARMS MUST COMPLY WITH SECTION 30.3.4.5 AND
 9.6.2.10 OF THE LIFE SAFETY CODE.
 3. CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS MUST COMPLY WITH SECTION
 30.3.4.6 OF THE LIFE SAFETY CODE.
 4. WALL SCHEDULES ARE NOT CLEARLY IDENTIFIED.
 5. THE “DEN” IN UNIT 2 NEEDS A SECONDARY MEANS OF
 ESCAPE TO COMPLY WITH SECTION 30.2.1.2 AND 24.2 OF THE
 LIFE SAFETY CODE.
 ALL REFERENCES TO THE LIFE SAFETY CODE ARE FOR THE
 FLORIDA SPECIFIC EDITION.
 PLEASE HAVE THE APPLICANT ADDRESS THESE ISSUES. IF

 WHERE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS IS MET:
 (1) THE BEDROOM OR LIVING AREA HAS A DOOR LEADING
 DIRECTLY TO THE
 OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING AT OR TO THE FINISHED GROUND
 LEVEL.
 (2) THE DWELLING UNIT IS PROTECTED THROUGHOUT BY AN
 APPROVED
 AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH 24.3.5.
 24.2.2.2 PRIMARY MEANS OF ESCAPE. THE PRIMARY MEANS OF
 ESCAPE SHALL BE A DOOR, STAIRWAY, OR RAMP PROVIDING A
