PARK. KITCHEN CABINET UNDER SINK IS ROTTED, THE
FLOOR IN THE BATHROOM IN UNSTABLE AND FALLEN IN.
THE A/C UNIT IS OUTSIDE OF RESIDENTS AND RODENTS
ARE GETTING IN TO THE ROOF AND WALLS AND DYING.
THERE ARE NO SCREENS IN THE WINDOWS.

INSPECTION TIME. I ASKED HIM WHAT ISSUES
HE WAS HAVING. HE STATED THAT ODORS IN
THE HOME WERE A PROBLEM. I EXPLAINED
THAT ODORS WERE NOT IN MY PURVIEW TO
ADDRESS UNLESS THERE WAS DOCUMENTATION
STATING THAT ENVIRONMENT WAS
UNINHABITABLE. HE THEN SAID THAT HE
NEEDED NEW CABINETS. I ASKED IF THE
CABINETS WERE FUNCTIONAL AND HE SAID THE
DOORS WOULD NOT CLOSE. I ASKED IF THE
CASBINETS WERE USABLE AS DOORS NOT
CLOSING WOULD NOT BE A STANDARD HOUSING
VIOLATION. HE THEN SAID THAT THE WINDOWS
DID NOT HAVE SCREENS. I ASKED IF THE
HOME WAS CONDITIONED AS SCREENS ARE NOT
REQUIRED IF HOME IS CONDITIONED. HE SAID
THAT WINDOW A/C UNITS WERE IN PLACE AND
FUNCTIONING BUT WERE NOT SUFFICIENT AND
THEY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THEY
"HAD BEEN IN THERE AS LONG AS I HAVE
BEEN HERE". I ASKED HOW LONG HE HAD BEEN
THERE AND HE SAID 9 MONTHS. I ASKED IF
THERE WERE ANY DAMAGED WALLS OR CEILINGS
OR IF THE ROOF LEAKED AND HE BECAME
BELIGERENT AND STATED THAT "NO ONE IS
HELPING ME MAKE THIS MAN DO WHAT HE
NEEDS TO DO". I SAID I COULD ONLY
ADDRESS THE STANDARD HOUSING VIOLATIONS.
HE THEN SAID THANKS FOR NOTHING AND HUNG
UP. I WILL CLOSE THIS CASE.
