INSPECTION. THIS HOME HAS REPORTEDLY HAD
A TENANT RESIDING IN HOME WHO RECENTLY
MOVED OUT. THERE IS AN ABANDONED VEHICLE
IN THE DRIVEWAY ALONG WITH A RIDING LAWN
MOWER. HIGH GRASS AND WEEDS THROUGHOUT
THE PREMISES. ELECTRICAL POWER IS
CONNECTED. THE SIDE GARAGE DOOR WAS IN
THE OPEN POSITION ALONG WITH THREE OPEN
WINDOWS. I OBSERVED PERSONAL BELONGINGS
THROUGH OPEN WINDOWS AND DOORS. WHILE
ONSITE THE NEIGHBOR STOPPED AND SAID
TENANT HAD MOVED OUT. WITH THIS
CONFIRMATION I ENTERED THE HOME AND
CLOSED WINDOWS AND LOCKED THE DOORS TO
SECURE THE STRUCTURE. THE SIDE GARAGE
DOOR COULD NOT BE CLOSED AND SECURED.
WHILE INSIDE I OBSERVED DAMAGE TO THE
CEILINGS FROM WATER INTRUSION. A NEW
ROOF WAS INSTALLED IN 2018 AND CEILINGS
HAVE APPARENTLY NEVER BEEN REPAIRED.
THERE IS ALSO BROKEN GLASS IN ONE WINDOW
THAT I OBSERVED. I WILL ATTACH PICTURES
TO CE 23100069 WHICH IS A CURRENT CODE
CASE FOR MUNICIPAL CODE VIOLATIONS, AND
GIVE CODE OFFICER A COPY OF THIS REPORT
FOR THEIR PROCESS AND PROCEDURES.

ELIZABETH AND LIVES IN ALASKA. CE
ADVISED HIM OF THE GRAZING OF COWS ON
THE REMAINDER OF THE PROEPRTY AND HE
KNEW NOTHING OF IT BUT WOULD RESEARCH IT
FURHTER PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. CE TO CHECK IN

GOING ON. HE ASKED IF HE CAN HAVE
PICTURES OF THE VIOLATIONS AND NEEDED TO
KNOW WHAT THE TIME FRAME WAS TO CORRECT.
I TOLD HIM IT APPEARED TO BE 3/5/2021
BUT I WAS NTO SURE AS I DID NOT SEE IT

CLARIFY AND SEE ABOUT PICTURES AT

CALLER IS IN ALASKA SO THERE IS A TIME

FAIR CONDITION. THE POWER IS OFF TO THE
RESIDENCE. PREMISES ARE OVERGROWN WITH
HIGH GRASS AND WEEDS. CALLED CODE
OFFICER OWENS FOR HIS INSPECTION TO ADD
TO THIS REPORT. THE FRONT ENTRY DOOR WAS
IN THE CLOSED POSITION BUT UNLOCKED. THE
SIDE ENTRY DOOR TO THE GARAGE WAS IN THE
OPEN POSITION AND THE ENTRY DOOR FROM
THE GARAGE TO THE HOUSE PROPER WAS ALSO
UNLOCKED. THERTE IS FURNITURE IN THE
HOME BUT IT APPEARS THAT HOME HAS BEEN
ABANDONED. THERE ARE NO OBVIOUS
STRUCTURAL ISSUES WITH THE HOME. THERE
IS ONE WINDOW WITH BROKEN GLASS AND
THREE EXTERIOR ENTRY DOORS THAT HAVE
ROTTED FRAMES AND DAMAGED DOOR SLABS.
THE ROOF IS IN TACT. RECORDS SHOW THAT A
ROOF PERMIT WAS ISSUED IN NOVEMBER OF
2018 INSPECTED AND PERMIT CLOSED. CODE
ENFORCEMENT HAS ENTERED RESULTS OF THEIR
INSPECTION OF THE PREMISES. STRUCTURALLY
THE ONE WINDOW NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED AND
THE 3 ENTRY DOORS NEED TO BE REPLACED.
THIS WORK WILL REQUIRE PERMITTING AND
INSPECTION. WHEN PERMIT IS ISSUED WE
WILL CLOSE THIS CASE. I WILL SEND A COPY
OF THIS REPORT TO OWNER OF RECORD FOR
THEIR INFORMATION AND REQUEST TO ADDRESS
THE LISTED CONCERNS.
