FIRE HAS CONSUMED A LARGE PORTION OF THE
TRUSS SYSTEM AND THE INTERIOR WALLS.
ROOF DID NOT COLLAPSE AND THE CBS
EXTERIOR WALLS DO NOT SHOW SIGNS OF
DAMAGE. HOME IS A TOTAL LOSS. IF
RECONSTRUCTION IS DESIRED, THE EXTERIOR
WALLS MAY BE IN CONDITION TO BE SAVED
BUT ENGINEERS INSPECTION WILL BE
REQUIRED TO CONFIRM SUITABILITY OF THE
CBS CONSTRUCTION. INTERIOR WILL HAVE TO
BE GUTTED AND THE ENTIRE ROOF SYSTEM,THE
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AND THE MECHANICAL
SYSTEM WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE
PLUMBING SYSTEM ABOVE THE SLAB WILL NEED
TO BE INVESTIGATED FOR SUITABILITY OF
USE. THERE ARE 2 ACCESSORY STRUCTURES, A
DETACHED GARAGE AND A UTILITY SHED, ON
THE PROPERTY THAT ARE UNDAMAGED FROM THE
FIRE. IF HOME IS DEMOLISHED AND NOT
REPLACED THESE ACCESSORY STRUCTURES WILL
BECOME ZONING ISSUES AND WILL NEED TO BE
REMOVED. I WILL HAVE CODE ENFORCEMENT
SEND A COPY OF THIS REPORT TO OWNER OF
RECORD INFORMING OF PENDING CODE
ENFORCEMENT ACTION TO REMOVE HAZARD.
