LAKE PLACID FOR WATER THEFT AS RESIDENTS HAVE RUN
A HOSE FROM NEXT DOOR TO THIS RESIDENCE AND HAVE
BEEN STEALING WATER. DEPUTY ADVISES THERE IS NO
POWER, ROOF IS OPEN TO THE SOUTH AND WEST AND
APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN FOR A LONG TIME. HE ADVISES
PEOPLE ARE LIVING HERE AND WE SHOULD PROCEED WITH
CAUTION. TRASH, ACCUMULATION, JUNK VEHICLES AND
MOTORCYCLES AROUND PROPERTY. HCSO IS REQUESTING
BUILDING DEPARMTNET INSPECT AS THEY DO NOT BELEIVE
PEOPLE SHOULD BE LIVING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

TO ALLOW ENTRY FOR A COURTESY INSPECTION
THAT WOULD NOT RESULT IN COMDEMNATION AT
THIS TIME. INTERIOR INSPECTION SHOWED
THE MOBILE HOME ITSELF AS STRUCTURALLY
SOUND. THE ADDITION ON THE SOUTH AND
EAST SIDE OF THE MOBILE HOME IS
STRUCTURALLY DEFICIENT. IT HAS
APPARENTLY BEEN CONSTRUCTED WITHOUT
PERMITTING AND HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN
HURRICANE IRMA. I INFORMED THAT THIS
ADDITION WOULD HAVE TO BE REMOVED. I
INFORMED THAT A CODE CASE HAD BEEN
OPENED AND FULL SHC INSPECTION WOULD
NEED TO BE COMPLETED TO PROVIDE HIM WITH
THE INFORMATION OF WHAT WOULD BE
REQUIRED TO REHABILITATE THE MOBILE
HOME. HE SAIS HE WOULD CLEN UP THE HOME
AS THEY HAD JUST MOVED BACK IN AND
BELONGINGS WERE BOXED AND NOT PUT AWAY.
THE ADDITION AREA IS NOT HABITABLE NOR
USED. I WILL ALLOW UNTIL AFTER THE
HOLIDAYS FOR REINSPECTION AND FOLLOW UP
AFTER THE NEW YEAR.

IS WARRRANTED. HOME IS POSTED NO
TRESSPASS SO I WILL MAIL A COPY OF THIS
REPORT, AND ALSO POST A COPY AT ADDRESS,
TO OWNER OF RECORD REQUESTING ACCESS TO
MAKE INSPECTION. PLEASE CONTACT THE
BUILDING DEPARTMENT (863-402-6643) TO
SET A TIME TO MEET SO INSPECTION CAN BE
MADE. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN A
