WOOD TRUSS SYSTEM. THE ROOF IS TARPED.
TARP IS WEATHERED AND WORN WITH
QUESTIONABLE FUNCTIONALITY. THE PREMISES
ARE CLEAN AND YARD MOWED. WINDOW GLAZING
IS INTACT AND HOME IS LOCKED AND SECURE.
THERE IS SOME SOFFIT DAMAGE AROUND THE
HOME. THE POOL CAGE STRUCTURE IS INTACT
BUT THE SCREENING IS LARGELY REMOVED
LEAVING THE POOL UNPROTECTED. POOL WATER
IS STAGNANT. VIEWING THROUGH WINDOWS THE
HOME HAS BEEN ABANDONED AND THERE IS
VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE DRYWALL CEILINGS.
LARGE PORTIONS OF THE CEILING HAS
COLLAPSED. AT THIS POINT REPAIRS ARE ALL
THAT IS NEEDED BUT FURTHER NEGLECT WILL
LEAD TO STRUCTURAL DECAY OF THE ROOF
DECKING AND TRUSS SYSTEM. THE ROOF NEEDS
TO BE REPLACED, THE POOL CAGE NEEDS TO
BE RESCREENED, THE SOFFIT NEEDS TO BE
REPAIRED AND THE CEILINGS NEED TO BE
REPAIRED. I WILL SEND A COPY OF THIS
REPORT TO OWNER FOR THEIR INFORMATION
WITH REQUEST TO CONTACT BUILDING
DEPARTMENT TO CONFIRM RECEIPT AND
ESTABLISH TIMELINE FOR REPAIRS. A PERMIT
WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE ROOF
REPLACEMENT, OTHER REPAIRS DO NOT NEED
PERMITTING.
