TENANT COMPLAINT. DOUBLE WIDE MOBILE HOME WAS
DAMAGED DURING HURRICAN IRMA, TENANT HAS
COMPLAINED TO LANDLOR ABOUT IT AND NOTHING HAS
BEEN DONE.
RIGHT FRONT SIDE OF HOUSE WAS LIFTED AND SLAMMED
BACK DOWN DURING STORM. THERE IS A CRACK IN THE
WALL. THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR WAS DAMAGED AND
LEAKING SO LANDLORD JUST LOCKED IT SHUT LEAVING
ONLY ONE DOOR INTO HOME. FLOOR BY SLIDING GLASS
DOOR IS DAMAGED FROM RAIN. AT LEAST HALF A DOZEN
PLACES IN FLOOR THAT ARE SOFT AND GIVEN AWAY.
TENANT HAS REPEATADLY COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS.

SHE IS IN PROCESS OF MOVING OUT. THERE
ARE SOME SOFT AREAS IN THE SUB-FLOOR.
ONE IN THE LIVING ROOM AREA, ONE IN THE
MASTER BEDROOM AND ANOTHER IN THE HALL
BATH. THESE AREAS ARE WEAK AND SHOULD BE
STABILIZED BUT ARE NOT A HAZARD AT THIS
TIME. THE SUB-FLOOR ALONG THE SLIDING
GLASS DOOR IS A CONCERN. THE SLIDING
GLASS DOOR HAS LEAKED AND HAS ROTTED THE
FLOOR. THIS AREA IS A HAZARD AND NEEDS
IMMEDIATE REPAIR AS IT IS IN DANGER OF
COLLAPSE IF WALKED ON. NEGLECT WILL LEAD
TO THE WALL FRAMING AND SUPPORT FAILURE.
REPAIR OF THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR TO BE
MADE OPERABLE WILL NEED TO BE
ACCOMPLISHED ALONG WITH THIS REPAIR.
THERE IS ALSO A HAZARD WITH THE EXTERIOR
ELECTRICAL OUTLETS. THE EXTERIOR OUTLETS
MUST HAVE WEATHERPROOF COVERS INSTALLED.
I WILL SEND A COPY OF THIS REPORT TO
OWNER WITH REQUEST THAT CALL FOR
REINSPECTION WHEN REPAIRS ARE MADE TO
CLOSE THIS CASE. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL
RESULT IN THIS CASE REMAINING OPEN WHICH
WILL AFFECT FUTURE SALE OF PROPERTY.
