OUT OF THE OFFICE.

COMPLAINT CALLS RECORDED. OWNER IS
UNCERTAIN IF PROPERTY WILL BE SOLD
BECAUSE OF THE NEIGHBOR OR KEPT FOR
CHILDREN. ADDITIONAL LONG DISCUSION OF
OPTIONS, IF GOING TO SELL, REMOVAL OF
GARAGE MAY OR MAY NOT DEVALUE PROPERTY.
IF GOING TO KEEP, LIFE EXPECTANCY OF
GARAGE AND VALUE OF REPLACING GARAGE
WITH NEW FOR LONGER USE. OWNERS ARE AT
POINT THAT THEY "DON'T WANT TO GIVE THE
NEIGHBOR THE SATISFACTION OF REMOVING
THE GARAGE." EXTENDED CONVERSATION
DIRECTING BACK TO BEST OPTIONS FOR THEIR
USE AND EXPEDITURE OF TIME AND MONEY.
MONEY SPENT TO REPAIR VS. MONEY TO
REPLACE. THIS LEAD TO DISCUSSION OF
MINIMUM REQUIRED FOR COMPLIANCE. I TOLD
THEM THAT THE DAMAGED SIDING WOULD HAVE
TO BE REPAIRED TO BE VISIBY ASCTETIC.
WHEN I FINALLY GOT THE GENTLEMAN OWNER
ALONE, AWAY FROM WIFE AND OTHER COUPLE,
I FEEL HE WAS MORE CONTENT TO REMOVE OR
REPLACE. HE SAID HE WOULD CONSULT WITH
HIS WIFE AND DETERMINE IF PROPERTY WOULD
BE KEPT OR SOLD AND MAKE DETERMINATION
OF GARAGE FROM THAT DECISION. HE SAID HE
WOULD BE BACK IN TOUCH WITH THEIR
DECISION.

DETERIORATED AND NEEDS REPAIR AND
PAINTING. THE OLD METAL ROOF IS RUSTED
BUT INTACT. STANDARD HOUSING CODE CALLS
FOR ACCESSORY STRUCTURES TO BE
"MAINTAINED AND KEPT IN GOOD REPAIR AND
STRUCTURALLY SOUND." STRUCTURE IS
STRUCTURALLY SOUND BUT NEEDS SOME
MAINTENANCE. THE WOOD SIDING NEEDS
REPAIR AND A FRESH COAT OF PAINT. THIS
MAINTENANCE DOES NOT REQUIRE PERMITTING.
I WILL SEND A COPY OF THIS REPORT TO
OWNER WITH REQUEST FOR A CALL TO THE
BUILDING OFFICIAL (863-402-6643) WHEN
REPAIRS ARE MADE TO REINSPECT AND CLOSE
CASE.

PERMIT. I INFORMED THAT A PERMIT IS NOT

REPLACEMENT. COMPLAINTANT WAS NOT
SATISFIED AND HAS CALLED ADMINISTRATION
AND REQUESTED INSPECTION. MADE SITE
VISIT TO INSPECT. ROOF HAS BEEN
REATTACHED. THE WOOD SIDING IS
DETERIORATING BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE HOLES
OR ALLOW WATER INTRUSION. SIDING ONLY
NEEDS A COAT OF PAINT TO BE COMPLIANT. I
WILL SEND A COPY OF THIS REPORT TO OWNER
FOR COMPLIANCE AND REQUEST CALL FOR
INSPECTION WHEN COMPLETE TO CLOSE CASE.

BLOWN LOOSE OR MISSING. STRUCTURE
APPEARS TO BE STRUCTURALLY SOUND AND
JUST REPAIRS NEEDED. STANDARD HOUSING
CODE SECTION 12.19.305 (O) STATES;
ACCESSORY STRUCTURES SHALL BE MAINTAINED
AND KEPT IN GOOD CONDITION AND
STRUCTURALLY SOUND. I WILL SEND A COPY
OF THIS REPORT TO OWNER INFORMING THAT A
PERMIT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ROOF REPAIR
AND ALLOWING INSPECTION TO CLOSE THIS
CASE.
