JAMES KIFFNEYER. COMPLAINT IS THAT
WINDOWS ARE SCREWED SHUT. THERE ARE 4
WINDOWS THAT ARE SCREWED SHUT AT THIS
TIME, THE FRONT LIVING ROOM WINDOW A
BACK DINIG ROOM WINDOW, A BACK KITCHEN
WINDOW AND A BACK BATHROOM WINDOW. THERE
IS ALSO A SIDE BEDROOM WINDOW THAT IS
INOPERABLE. THIS BEDROOM HAS ANOTHER
FRONT WINDOW THAT PROVIDES EGRESS.
ALTHOUGH THE HOME HAS OPERATING A/C
SYSTEM OUR LOCAL STANDARD HOUSING CODE
REQUIRES NATURAL VENTILATION FOR
HABITABLE ROOMS. THE BATHROOM WINDOW
ALSO PROVIDES REQUIRED VENTILATION OF
THE BATHROOM AS THERE IS NO EXHAUST FAN
IN THIS BATHROOM. WINDOWS NEED TO BE
MADE OPERABLE OR REPLACED. THE VINYL
CEILING IN THE CARPORT AREA ALSO NEEDS
REPAIR. THE VINYL HAS PARTIALLY BEEN
REMOVED BY HURRICANE IRMA. THIS REMOVAL
ALLOWS OPEN EXPOSURE TO ATTIC AREA WHICH
IS A HAZARD IN HIGH WIND EVENTS. WINDOWS
AND CARPORT CEILING NEEDS TO BE
REPAIRED. A PERMIT WILL BE REQUIRED IF
WINDOWS ARE REPLACED.
