HANGING FROM THE EAST SIDE OF THE
STRUCTURE AND THE ROOF ON THE CARPORT
HAS NOT BEEN REMOVED. I WILL SEND A COPY
OF THIS REPORT TO OWNER WITH REQUEST FOR
CALL WHEN THESE TWO ITEMS HAVE BEEN
ABATED TO CLOSE CASE.
06-15-201808:18 AMINITIAL INSPECTIONMADE SITE VISIT. THIS IS A MOBILE HOME
WITH A SITE BUILT ADDITION ON ONE SIDE.
STRUCTURE HAS APPARENTLY BEEN ABANDONED
AFTER THE HURRICANE. THE POWER IS OFF TO
THE PROPERTY. PREMISES ARE CLUTTERED
WITH FALLEN TREE LIMBS AND DEBRIS. THERE
ARE NO OBVIOUS STRUCTURAL CONCERNS WITH
THE MOBILE HOME. THERE IS A TARP THAT
ONCE COVERED THE ROOF THAT IS NOW BLOWN
OFF. PRESUMPTION CAN BE MADE THAT WATER
INTRUSION HAS OCCURRED IN HOME BUT
OBSERVATION THROUGH WINDOWS COULD NOT
CONFIRM. THE ALUMINUM GUTTERS ON THE
EAST SIDE HAVE FALLEN FOR APPROXIMATELY
1/2 THE LENGTH OF THE HOME AND ARE
DRAPED TO GROUND LEVEL. THE GUTTERS ON
THE WEST SIDE ARE DETACHED AND HANGING
BUT HAVE NOT FALLEN AT THIS TIME. THERE
ARE 2 ACCESSORY STRUCTURES ON THE
PROPERTY. A POLE BARN STRUCTURE THAT IS
INTACT AND A DETACHED GARAGE STRUCTURE.
THE GARAGE STRUCTURE HAS A WOOD FRAMED
OPEN CARPORT ON THE WEST SIDE THAT THE
ROOF HAS COLLAPSED. THIS CARPORT ROOF IS
A VIOLATION OF SHC 12.19.305 (O) AND
MUST BE DEMOLISHED AND REMOVED FROM THE
SITE. THE FALLEN AND HANGING GUTTERS ARE
A VIOLATION OF SHC 12.19.106 AND A HIGH
WIND DEBRIS HAZARD AND MUST BE SECURED
OR REMOVED COMPLETELY. THE PREMISES ARE
A VIOLATION OF SHC 12.19.307 (D) AND
MUST BE CLEANED OF DEBRIS.
