WITH A CBS ADDITION ON THE EAST SIDE OF
THE MOBILE. THE ALUMINUM ROOF SYSTEM HAS
COMPLETELY BLOWN OFF OF THE STRUCTURE
AND IS PARTIALLY ATTACHED ALONG THE BACK
AND HANGING IN A LARGE TREE. THIS TREE
HAS A LARGE LIMB THAT HAS BROKEN AND
FALLEN ACROSS THE SERVICE WIRES WHICH
HAS BROKEN THE RISER OF THE METER. THE
SERVICE WIRES HAVE BEEN CUT AND COILED
AT THE POLE BY THE POWER COMPANY LEAVING
THE HOME WITHOUT POWER. PREMISES ARE
OVERGROWN WITH KNEE HIGH WEEDS. THERE IS
A LARGE SAILBOAT IN THE FRONT YARD ALONG
WITH AN UNTAGGED VEHICLE. THERE IS ALSO
A SMALL JOHN BOAT AND THREE CANOES
LAYING ABOUT THE PREMISES ALONG WITH
SCATTERED DEBRIS, TRASH AND LAWN
FURNITURE. THE WINDOWS ARE ALL IN THE
OPEN POSITION WITH SOME HAVING BROKEN
PANES OF GLASS. LOOKING THROUGH WINDOWS
I OBSERVED INTERIOR CEILING DAMAGE AND
AREAS WHERE THE ROOF DECKING HAS BEEN
REMOVED. LARGE TARPS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED
OVER THE ROOF SO FULL INSPECTION OF
STRUCTURAL DAMAGE COULD NOT BE DONE. THE
FRONT DOOR WAS LOCKED LEAVING THE
STRUCTURE SECURE FROM ENTRY. TRASH AND
DEBRIS WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE
SITE AS THEY CAUSE A HIGH WIND DEBRIS
HAZARD. FURTHER ASSESSMENT OF THE
STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS AND INTERIOR
CONDITIONS WILL NEED TO BE MADE TO
DETERMINE IF REPAIRS CAN BE MADE OR IF
DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL MUST OCCUR.
STRUCTURE IS CONDEMNED AS UNSAFE FOR
OCCUPATION AT THIS TIME. I WILL POST
STRUCTURE TOMORROW IN RETURN VISIT.
