BOARD. SHE WAS ALSO UPSET THAT CE WAS
SUPPOSED TO BACK IN MAY, EXPLAINED TO
HER THAT WE HAVE BEEN A LITTLE SHORT
HANDED, AND SHE SAID YES WHAT EVER YOU
SAY. SHE ALSO TRIED POINTING OUT OTHER
PROPERTIES WITH CHICKENS, INFORMED HER
TO CALL THEM IN AS WE ARE NOT PROACTIVE.

GAVE THEM A PRINTED COPY OF THE CODE
12.05.316 WHICH STATES THAT FOWL IS
PROHIBITED IN RESIDENTIAL ZONING
DISTRICTS. THE WOMAN ARGUED WITH CE IN
THE FACT THAT SHE CHECKED AND WAS TOLD
THEY WERE ALLOWED. INFORMED HER THAT SHE
IS NOT AU, AND THAT SHE IS NOT IN THE
CITY LIMITS, WHICH DOES ALLOW CHICKENS,
BUT CE IS COUNTY, AND THAT THE COUNTY
CODE HAS BEEN IN EFFECT SINCE 1971. THE
GENTLEMAN SAID THAT HE HAS LIVED HER FOR
OVER 30 YEARS, AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM,
THEY FELT THAT IT WAS A NEIGHBOR THAT
USED TO STEAL THEIR EGGS. INFORMED THEM
THEY WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE THE
CHICKES/FOWL FROM THE PROPERTY IN 14
DAYS, WHICH WOULD BE MAY 17, CE WOULD
INSPECT THE PROPERTY AGAIN ON THE 18TH.
HE WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING THAT CE WAS
JUST DOING THEIR JOB, THE WOMAN AS STILL
VERY UPSET. JD 45 MIN

BUILT A SHED AS LARGE AS A BEDROOM FOR
THE CHICKENS AND AT LEAST 2 ROOSTERS.
