FRONT OF AP MAGISTRATE ON AUGUST 15,2018
AND NEW OWNER HAS BEEN GIVEN 60 DAYS TO
OBTAIN PERMIT FOR REPAIRS.

ENFORCEMENT TO DO STANDARD HOUSING
INSPECTION. THIS IS A WOOD FRAME SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENSE IN POOR CONDITION. THE
SHINGLED ROOF HAS BEEN LARGELY REMOVED
FROM HURRICANE IRMA. THERE IS CRACKED
AND FALLEN STUCCO ON THE FRONT OF THE
HOME. THE FRONT COBERED PORCH AREA HAS
NO FLOORING ONLY BARE FLOOR JOIST
SYSTEM. THE FLAT ROOFED ADDITION ON THE
REAR OF THE HOME HAS HAD THE ROOFING
MATERIAL REMOVED AND THE DECKING AND
RAFTERS ARE ROTTED AND FALLEN IN AREAS.
THIS AREA HAS TERMITE AND WATER DAMAGE.
OTHER AREAS OF THE HOUSE PROPER ALSO
HAVE DECK FAILURE CAUSING WATER
INTRUSION. THE ADDITION ON THE NORTH OF
THE STRUCTURE DOES NOT MEET CODE
REQUIREMENTS. STRUCTURAL FRAMING MEMBERS
HAVE BEEN CUT AND DISCONNECTED DURING
ENCLOSURE OF THIS AREA. THE PLUMBING
SYSTEM HAS BEEN VANDALIZED AND THE
BATHROOM IN NONFUNCTIONAL WITH NO SINK
AND NO WATER SUPPLY. THERE ARE DRAPED
AND EXPOSED WIRING IN THE ATTIC AREA.
HOME IS UNSECURED AND OPEN TO VAGRANTS
AND NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN WITH POTENTIAL
HAZARD. THERE IS ALSO AN ACCESSORY SHED
STRUCTURE AT THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY
THAT IS ALSO DILAPIDATED AND DOES NOT
MEET CODE REQUIREMENTS. COSTS OF
REHABILITATION OF THESE STRUCTURES WOULD
CERTAINLY EXCEED APPRAISED VALUE
THEREFORE I WOULD RECOMMEND DEMOLITION
AND REMOVAL FROM THE SITE.
