02-20-201807:48 AMINITIAL INSPECTIONMDE SITE VISIT AND SPOKE WITH OWNER. THE
SEPTIC SYSTEM ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED
FOR NOW WITH PUMPING OF THE TANK. SEPTIC
COMPANY HAS INFORMED THAT A NEW SYSTEM
WILL BE NEEDED. INSPECTION OF SYSTEM
SHOWS SIGNS OF SYSTEM FAILURE AND I
WOULD CONCUR THAT SYSTEM NEEDS
REPLACEMENT. THE ELECTRIC OUTLETS THAT
WERE REPORTED AS NOT WORKING WERE
RESTORED TO FUNCTION AS BREAKERS WERE
OFF IN THE PANEL. THE HOLE IN THE GARAGE
DOOR IS DUE TO THE GARAGE DOOR BEING OFF
OF THE TRACK SYSTEM. GARAGE DOOR NEEDS
TO BE SECURED IN PLACE. REPORTS OF
TERMITES WERE NOT VERIFIED BUT AREA
WHERE TERMITES WERE REPORTED SHOW A WET
AREA DUE TO THE KITCHEN DRAIN LEAKING
AND CAUSING WATER DAMAGE. THE KITCHEN
DRAIN NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED TO NOT LEAK.
WHILE INSPECTING THE GARAGE DOOR I DID
OBSERVE CEILING DAMAGE IN THE GARAGE
AREA. DRYWALL CEILING IS FALLEN AND
DAMAGED EXPOSING CEILING FRAMING THAT IS
BROKEN AND DAMAGED. THIS FRAMING NEEDS
TO BE REPAIRED AND THE CEILING
REPLACED/REPAIRED. OTHER ELECTRICAL
ISSUES ARE PRESENT IN THE GARAGE AREA AS
WELL. EXPOSED WIRING AND UNCOVERD DEVICE
BOXES. THESE ELECTRICAL CONCERNS WILL
HAVE TO BE REPAIRED TO MEET NEC 2014
REQUIREMENTS. THERE ARE EXTENTION CORDS
RUN FROM THE GARAGE THROUGH THE ATTIC TO
THE KITCHEN. THEY ARE NOT BEING USED AT
THIS POINT BUT THEY WILL HAVE TO BE
REMOVED AND BLANKS INSTALLED IN THE
PANEL DEADFRONT. THESE ISSUES WILL NEED
TO BE CORRECTED AT THE EARLIEST
CONVENIENCE AND REINSPECTION COMPLETED
TO CLOSE THIS CASE. I WILL SEND A COPY
OF THIS REPORT TO THE OWNER WITH REQUEST
TO CONTACT THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT WITH
TIME LINE OF REPAIRS AND SCHEDULE
REINSPECTION OF REPAIRS.
