SITE BUILT ADDITION CONSTRUCTED ADDING
ENCLOSED ROOM. AN ALUMINUM
CARPORT,SCREENROOM AND SHED ADDITION HAS
ALSO BEEN CONSTRUCTED. ALL PORTIONS OF
THE STRUCTURE HAVE BEEN DAMAGED DUE TO
HURRICANE IRMA. THE MAJORITY OF THE
ALUMINUM CARPORT ROOF HAS BEEN REMOVED
ALONG WITH THE ENTIRE ROOF OF THE
ENCLOSED ADDITION. ADDITIONALY THE
ALUMINUM "ROOF OVER" PACKAGE HAS BEEN
COMPLETELY REMOVED EXPOSING THE ORIGINAL
ROOF STRUCTURE OF THEMOBILE HOME. THIS
ORIGINAL ROOF HAS MULTIPLE HOLES AND HAS
BEEN COMPROMISED BY REMOVAL OF THE
ALUMINUM "ROOF OVER" AND THE SUPPORTING
FRAMING. THIS HAS ALLOWED SIGNIFICANT
WATER INTRUSION INTO THE WALLS AND
CEILING AREAS OF THE MOBILE HOME.
INTERIOR INSPECTION SHOWS STAINING AND
MOLD GROWTH IN THE CEILING ALONG ENTIRE
PERIMETER OF THE MOBILE HOME WITH
SAGGING OF CEILING WITH PORTIONS
COLLAPSED. WATER INTRUSION HAS CAUSED
SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE SUB-FLOOR OF
THE STRUCTURE IN THE LIVING ROOM AREA
WITH LARGE PORTION @ 10'X10' COLLAPSED.
ENTRANCE HAD TO BE MADE BY TRAVERSING
ADDITIONAL SECTIONS OF PLYWOOD LAID
ACROSS THE FLOOR JOISTS TO AVOID FALLING
THROUGH ADDITIONAL WEAKENED AND UNSTABLE
AREAS. THE ALUMINUM ROOF OVER THE SITE
BUILT ADDITION IS COMPLETELY GONE
EXPOSING THIS AREA TO THE ELEMENTS.
PANELING ON THE EXTERIOR WALLS SHOW
BUCKLING AND WARPING DUE TO WATER
DAMAGE. WATER INTRUSION INTO WALL CAVITY
CAN BE ASSUMED AND COMPROMISING OF
STRUCTURAL MEMBERS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
AND DAMAGE TO INSULATION WOULD HAVE TO
BE INVESTIGATED. COSTS OF REPAIR AND
INVESTIGATIVE WORK WOULD CERTAINLY
EXCEED THE VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE AND I
WOULD RECOMEND REMOVAL FROM THE
PROPERTY. STRUCTURE IS CONDEMNED AS
UNSUITABLE FOR HUMAN OCCUPANCY UNTIL
REPAIRS CAN BE MADE BY LICENSED
