HAS SUFFERED SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE DUE TO
HURRICANE. THE ALUMINUM ROOF OVER SYSTEM
AND THE ROOF OF THE MOBILE HOME PROPER
HAS BLOWN OFF ALLOWING RAIN WATER
INTRUSION. THE CEILINGS ARE STAINED
THROUGHOUT THE UNIT AND THE CEILING IS
SAGGING IN MULTIPLE AREAS. SOME OF THE
STAINED AREAS HAS PROGRESSED TO POINT OF
MOLD GROWTH. THE WATER INTRUSION HAS
ALSO COMPROMISED THE WALLS IN MULTIPLE
ROOMS WITH THE PANELING WARPED AND
BUCKLED FROM MOISTURE CONTENT. THE
CARPET HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM AREAS OF
THE UNIT DUE TO HAVING BEEN WET AND
SUB-FLOOR SHOWS SIGNS OF BUCKLING AND
WARPING DUE TO WATER INTRUSION. WITH
THIS AMMOUNT OF MOISTURE BEING PRESENT
MOLD GROWTH WITHIN THE WALL CAVITY WOULD
BE EXPECTED. THE HOME IS CONSIDERED
UNINHABITABLE UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT
REPAIRS ARE MADE TO STOP RAIN WATER
INTRUSION AND THE REMOVAL OF INTERIOR
WALL COVERING AND INSULATION, TREATMENT
OF WALL CAVITY TO REMOVE MOLD
CONTAMINATION AND REPLACEMENT OF
INSULATION AND WALL COVERING. IT IS MY
ESTIMATION THAT COSTS OF THESE REPAIRS
WILL EXCEED THE APPRAISED VALUE OF THE
STRUCTURE AND THEREFORE SHOULD BE
DEMOLISHED AND REMOVED FROM THE
PROPERTY.
