THIS IS A 1974 SINGLEWIDE MOBILE HOME
THAT HAS SUFFERED HURRICANE DAMAGE. THE
STORM REMOVED THE MAJORITY OF THE
CARPORT AND SHED ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE
STRUCTURE. THIS DAMAGE ALLOWED WATER
INTRUSION INTO THE WALL CAVITY. THE
INTERIOR PANELING OF THE WALL HAS
BUCKLED AND WARPED. THE FLOORING SHOWS
SIGNS OF BEING WET 3'-4' TO THE INTERIOR
OF THIS EXTERIOR WALL. WITH THIS AMMOUNT
OF WATER INTRUSION MOLD PRESENCE IS A
CONCERN. THE ROOF OF THE MOBILE HOME
PROPER DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN
DAMAGED AS NO SIGNS OF WATER INTRUSION
SHOW ON THE CEILINGS. THE PANELING ON
THE EAST EXTERIOR WALL WILL HAVE TO BE
REMOVED AND THE INSULATION FROM THE WALL
CAVITY. MOLD WILL HAVE TO BE ELIMINATED
AND NEW INSULATION AND WALL COVERING
INSTALLED. WITH MOLD CONCERNS HOME WILL
HAVE TO BE VACATED UNTIL REPAIRS CAN BE
MADE.
