ENTRY DOOR HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH NEW
DOOR UNIT. THE GARAGE MAN DOOR AND THE
ENTRY DOOR IN THE GARAGE HAVE BEEN
REINSTALLED. THIS WORK HAS BEEN
COMPLETED BY STEVE SHAW ACORDING TO
STEVE NESTHUS. STEVE N. SAYS THAT STEVE
S. HAS BEEN CONTRACTED TO MAKE REPAIRS
AND COMPLETE WORK UNFINISHED BY TRINITY
DEVELOPMENT. I ASKED FOR A COPY OF THIS
CONTRACT AND INVOICED PAYMENT TO STEVE
S.. INTERIOR DOORS ARE REMOVED FROM THE
FRAMES AT THIS TIME. STEVE SAYS THAT
TRINITY DID NOT INSTALL 3 OF THE 8 DOORS
AND THAT HE HAS REMOVED THE 5 TO PAINT
THEM. THE FRENCH DOORS ON THE LANAI ARE
IN PLACE BUT ARE NOT TRIMMED OUT AND DO
NOT HAVE HARDWARE INSTALLED. THE WINDOWS
ON THE LANAI ARE IN PLACE AND TRIMMED
WITH ALUMINUM FLAT STOCK MATERIAL. THE
WINDOWS IN THE HOUSE ARE IN PLACE BUT
ARE MISSING SEVERAL ANCHOR SCREWS.
WINDOWS ARE MISALIGNED. THERE IS OTHER
WORK NOT IN THE SCOPE OF TRINITY
DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT THAT HAS BEEN
COMPLETED. NEW FLOORING AND NEW CABINETS
THROUGHOUT HOME HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.
THIS CASE WILL APPEAR BEFORE THE CLEAB
ON APRIL 3RD.

DEVELOPMENT ABOUT THIS PROJECT AND HE
HAS SUBMITTED A RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT.
NEGOTIATION OF RESOLUTION APPEARS TO NOT
BE AN OPTION. TODAY I RETURNED CALL FROM
SUSAN AND GOT HER VOICE MAIL. I WILL
CONTACT HER NEXT WEEK TO AGAIN ENCOURAGE
HER TO FILE AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT TO
APPEAR BEFRORE THE BOARD.

MR. SECOR HAS MADE NO ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE
ISSUES. SHE HAS ALSO REPORTED TO THE
STATE AND WANTS TO PERSUE WITH THE
LICENSING BOARD. I ADVISED HER OF THE
PROCESS TO APPEAR BEFORE THE BOARD AND
SHE SAID SHE WOULD COME INTO THE OFFICE
TO PICK UP THE PAPERWORK.

CONCERNING WORK NOT COMPLETED AND/OR
COMPLETED POORLY. COMPLAINT INCLUDED A
PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT TO RREPLACE
WINDOWS AND EXTERIOR DOORS, GARAGE DOOR
AND REPLACE 7 INTERIOR DOORS AND
HARDWARE. I MET WITH STEVE NESTHUS WHO
WAS REPRESENTING THE OWNER AT THE HOME
SITE. I OBSERVED NEW WINDOWS INSTALLED
THROUGHOUT HOME, NEW EXTERIOR DOORS
INSTALLED AND A NEW GARAGE DOOR
INSTALLED. PERMIT # 16120086 HAS BEEN
ISSUED FOR THE GARAGE DOOR REPLACEMENT
BUT WINDOWS AND EXTERIOR DOORS HAVE NOT
BEEN PERMITTED. MANY OF THE WINDOWS ARE
MISSING TAPCON ANCHORS AND WOULD NOT
HAVE PASSED INSPECTION FOR INSTALLATION.
THEY ARE NOT SEALED/CAULKED PROPERLY AND
REPORTEDLY LEAK. THE FRONT ENTRY DOOR IS
AN OUTSWING DOOR THAT HAS BEEN INSTALLED
AS AN INSWING CAUSING WATER INTRUSION AT
THE SILL. THE DOORS DO NOT HAVE FINISH
TRIM AND SOME HARDWARE IS MISSING. THE
INTERIOR DOORS HAVE EXPOSED FRAMING
AROUND THE DOORS AND HAVE NOT BEEN
COMPLETED. THERE ARE VISIBLE GAPS AROUND
THE WINDOWS INSTALED ON THE REAR PORCH
AND THE FRENCH DOORS TO THE BEDROOM
AREA. I CONTACTED MIKE SECOR TO
ENCOURAGE HIM TO CONTACT OWNER TO
RECTIFY AND COMPLETE PROJECT. OWNER HAS
NO INTEREST IN CONTRACTOR BEING BACK ON
JOBSITE SO NEGOTIATIONS WILL BE NEEDED
TO DETERMINE COSTS OF COMPLETION OF WORK
AND COMPENSATION FROM CONTRACTOR. I
ENCOURAGED STEVE TO CONTACT ANOTHER
CONTRACTOR FOR PRICING TO COMPLETE
PROJECT TO FACILITATE NEGOTIATIONS.
