FAMILY RESIDENCE THAT IS NOT ABANDONED.
THE HOME IS IN FAIR CONDITION WITH NO
STRUCTURAL ISSUES. TENANT ANSWERED THE
DOOR AND ALLOWED ACCESS FOR INSPECTION.
TENANT SAYS HE IS GOOD FRIENDS WITH
OWNER WHO HAS JUST RECENTLY MOVED IN. HE
ALSO SHARED THAT PREVIOUS TENANT BROKE A
WATER PIPE AND DID NOT INFORM THE OWNER
WHICH LEAD TO HOME SUFFERING INTERIOR
WATER DAMAGE. THIS DAMAGE IS BEING
REPAIRED AND ALONG WITH THIS REPAIR THEY
ARE ALSO REMODELING SOME ROOMS AND THE
KITCHEN. THE KITCHEN CABINETS HAVE BEEN
REMOVED AND SOME WALLS. THE BATHROOM
WHERE THE LEAK ORIGINATED HAS BEEN
REMODELED. DRYWALL HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM
THE LOWER PORTIONS OF MANY OF THE WALLS.
TENANT HAS ONE BEDROOM THAT WAS
UNDAMAGED THAT HE IS RESIDING IN WHILE
REMODEL WORK IS IN PROGRESS. I INFORMED
TENANT THAT PERMITS WOULD NEED TO BE
OBTAINED FOR THIS PROJECT AND HE SAID
THAT HE WAS SURE THE OWNER WOULD COMPLY.
THERE IS CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS PILED IN
THE SIDE YARD AREA AND SOME OTHER DEBRIS
BUT THE PREMISES ARE GENERALLY KEPT. THE
HOMW HAS A METAL ROOF THAT SHOWS NO
SIGNS OF LEAKING AND THE HOME IS
STRUCTURALLY SOUND. I WILL KEEP THIS
CASE OPEN UNTIL PERMITS ARE OBTAINED.
