SPECIALTY EXAM IN DECEMBER OF 2015 BUT
MR. KOOGLER HAS NOT TAKEN OR PASSED THE
EXAM FOR LICENSURE. I RECOMMENDED THAT
MR. KOOGLER FIND EMPLOYMENT WITH AN
ESTABLISHED FIRM TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE
BUSINESS ASPECTS OF CONSTRUCTION AND
POSSIBLY TO TAKE SOME BUSINESS CLASSES
AT THE COLLEGE TO PREPARE HIM TO RUN A
BUSINESS. HE SAID HE APPRECIATED THE
ADVISE AND WOULD LOOK INTO BETTER
PREPARING HIMSELF IN BUSINESS.

OWNER. MADE SITE VISIT AND SPOKE WITH
OWNER ABOUT CONCERNS. THERE IS A ROOM
ADDITION BEING CONSTRUCTED ON THE REAR
OF THE HOME. NEW CONCRETE SLAB HAS BEEN
POURED, ALUMINUM FRAME WALLS HAVE BEEN
ERECTED, A STRUCTURAL ALUMINIM ROOF
SYSTEM HAS BEEN INSTALLED, WINDOWS AND
EXTERIOR DOOR ARE IN PLACE AND ELECTRIC
WIRING IS IN PROGRESS OF BEING
INSTALLED. VINYL SIDING IS NEAR
COMPLETION ON THE EXTERIOR OF ADDITION.
OWNER STATES THAT ADVANCED ALUMINUM WAS
CONTRACTED WITH IN JULY OF 2016. SHE
PRODUCED A PROPOSAL/SCOPE OF WORK DATED
JULY 8, 2016 WITH JOB COSTS AS
$15,702.19. SHE ALSO PRODUCED A DOCUMENT
DATED NOVENBER 30, 2016 SHOWING COSTS TO
DATE AND DOCUMENTING A DEPOSIT OF
$7,851.19 ON JULY 8, 2016 AND A DRAW OF
$2,000.00 ON NOVENBER 22, 2016. A CHANGE
ORDER WAS NOTED FOR TILE OF $450.00.
THEN NOTED AS "NEEDED" ROOF, SURVEY,

FUNDS AVAILABLE TO COMPLETE PROJECT WITH
REMAINING BALANCE A MINIMAL PROFIT.
PLANS AND A PERMIT WILL HAVE TO BE
OBTAINED FOR THIS PROJECT. INSPECTIONS
OTHER THAN THE SLAB INSPECTION COULD BE
CAUGHT UP TO DATE. I SHARED WITH MRS.

TOUCH.
