WITH WEEDS 3' HIGH. THE ROOF IS WELL
AGED AND SHOWS SIGNS OF DECK FAILURE IN
AREAS. OBSERVING THROUGH WINDOWS I CAN
SEE EVIDENCE OF WATER INTRUSION IN AREAS
WITH STAINING OF DRYWALL CEILING AND
PORTIONS OF THE CEILING COLLAPSED. THERE
IS NO VISIBLE STRUCTURAL DAMAGE OTHER
THAN THE ROOF DECKING AT THIS POINT
ALTHOUGH CONTINUED NEGLIGENCE WILL LEAD
TO TRUSS AND STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO THE
ROOF SYSTEM. AT THIS TIME A NEW ROOF AND
SOME DRYWALL REPAIR IS REQUIRED. THIS IS
A PRIME CANDIDATE FOR THE COUNTY TO
ASSIST WITH THE USE OF SHIP FUNDS. I
RECOMMEND THAT WE ATTEMPT TO WORK WITH
OWNER FOR APPLICATION AND SUBMITTAL OF
SHIP FUND REQUEST.
