TENANT COMPLAINT. APARTMENT#2, KATAREANA SANTOS,
CONTACT# 315-263-2980.
THE BASE BOARDS THROUGH OUT THE HOUSE ARE ROTTING.
THE WALL WHERE IS A/C IS RAIN LEAKS IN AND THE
BEAM IS ROTTED ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. THE SINK
IN BATHROOM LEAKS, TOILET LEAKS, MINIMAL HOT WATER
IN SHOWER. SOME WINDOWS MISSING SCREENS, AND
WINDOW IN BEDROOM IS TAPED SHUT AND SECOND BEDROOM
WINDOW IS SEALED SHUT BECAUSE ITS BROKEN. SHE HAS
COMPLAINED TO LANDLORD AND THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING
ABOUT IT. OTHER TENANT IN THE OTHER APARTMENTS
HAVE HAD PROBLEMS AS WELL, NEIGHBOR HAD ISSUES
WITH HER BATHROOM AND THEY MADE HER USE THIS
LADIES BATHROOM.

EXTERIOR WALL OF THE STRUCTURE. EXTERIOR
OFTHIS WALL SHOWS SPAWLING OF CONCRETE
BLOCK AND AN OPEN AREA SURROUNDING THE
A/C UNIT THAT MAY BE ALLOWING WATER
INTRUSION. THE NORTH SIDE OF THE
STRUCTURE SHOWS SAME SPAWLING AND WATER
INTRUSION. THE WINDOW A/C UNIT ON THE
NORTH SIDE IS NOT SEALED AROUND THE
WINDOW OPENING AND MAY ADD TO THE WATER
INTRUSION. THE CEILING IN THESE AREAS DO
NOT SHOW SIGNS OF STAINING OR WATER
INTRUSION FROM ROOF SO WATER INTRUSION
APPEARS TO BE COMING THROUGH THE
CONCRETE BLOCK. THE SINK DRAIN IN THE
BATHROOM LEAKS AND WILL NEED TO BE
REPAIRED. THE TOILET ALSO LEAKS AROUND
THE BASE. I SUSPECT THAT THIS COULD BE
RESOLVED BY INSTALLING A NEW WAX RING AT
FLOOR CONECTION. TENANT ALSO COMPLAINED
THAT THE SHOWER DOES NOT HAVE ADEQUATE
HOT WATER SUPPLY. I SUSPECT THAT THIS
MAY BE AN ISSUE WITH THE FAUCET AS
TENANT SAYS THE SINK HAS ADEQUATE HOT
WATER. THE SPICKET IN THE TUB IS LOOSE
AND UNATTACHED FROM WALL. IT IS STILL
FUNCTIONAL BUT THIS CONDITION OFFERS
DANGER OF PIPE DAMAGE AND POSSIBLE MAJOR
FLOODING DAMAGE. ONE WINDOW IN THE
NORTHWEST BEDROOM IS INOPERABLE AND
NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THERE ARE SIGNS OF
POSSIBLE TERMITE ACTIVITY. THIS NEEDS TO
BE INVESTIGATED AND REMEDIED TO PROHIBIT
FURTHER DAMAGE TO STRUCTURE. ALTHOUGH
THE ROOF DOES NOT SHOW SIGNS OF LEAKING
THE ROOF IS WELL AGED AND REROOFING
SHOULD BE CONSIDERED.
