RESIDENCE WITH WOOD TRUSS SYSTEM AND
SHINGLED ROOF. THE RESIDENCE IS
STRUCTURALLY SOUND WITH NO SIGNS OF ROOF
LEAKS, SPAWLING OF BLOCK NOR ANY
STRUCTURAL DEFICIENCIES. THE OVERHEAD
GARAGE DOOR HAS DISLODGED FROM THE TRACK
CAUSING THE DOOR TO BE INOPERABLE AND
AJAR IN THE OPENING. THE MAJORITY OF THE
GLASS IN THE WINDOWS AND DOORS HAS BEEN
BROKEN LEAVING BROKEN GLASS STREWN ABOUT
THE PREMISES AND INTERIOR OF THE
STRUCTURE. THIS IS A VIOLATION OF
12.19.305 AND 12.19.500 OF THE STANDARD
HOUSING CODE.. THE PREMISES ARE
OVERGROWN WITH WEEDS 5' HIGH MAKING
TRAVERSE AROUND STRUCTURE DIFFICULT AND
DANGEROUS. THIS IS A VIOLATION OF
12.19.307 OF THE STANDARD HOUSING CODE.
THE FRONT ENTRY DOOR WAS LOCKED BUT THE
GLASS IN THE DOOR WAS BROKEN OUT
ALLOWING ACCESS BY SIMPLY REACHING IN
AND UNLOCKING DOOR. THE REAR FRENCH DOOR
UNIT WAS STANDING IN THE OPEN POSITION.
THERE IS NO ELECTRIC METER IN THE METER
CAN EXPOSING METER LUGS BUT THE POWER
COMPANY HAS DISCONNECTED THE POWER AT
THE POLE. ENTERING THROUGH THE OPEN REAR
FRENCH DOORS I OBSERVED THAT THE
PLUMBING SYSTEM HAS BEEN VANDALIZED OF
ALL COPPER, SINKS AND FIXTURES. THE PUMP
ALSO HAS BEEN REMOVED. THE A/C UNIT HAS
BEEN REMOVED AND THE ELECTRIC PANEL HAS
HAD ALL BREAKERS AND WIRING REMOVED.
THESE ARE VIOLATIONS OF 12.19.303 AND
12.19.304 OF THE STANDARD HOUSING CODE.
THERE IS ONE LARGE HOLE IN THE WALL IN
THE KITCHEN AREA WHERE I SUSPECT THAT
PLUMBING WAS REMOVED AND A SMALLER HOLE
IN THE CEILING. INTERIOR DOORS WERE IN
PLACE ALTHOUGH SOME NEED REPAIR. THESE
ARE VIOLATIONS OF 12.19.305 OF THE
STANDARD HOUSING CODE. THERE WAS NO
SIGNS OF ROOF LEAKS WITH NO STAINING OR
DAMAGED DRYWALL CEILINGS.
THIS PROPERTY WILL HAVE TO BE CLEANED OF
THE HAZARDOUS GLASS. THE PREMISES WILL
HAVE TO BE CLEANED AND THE WEEDS REMOVED
OR MOWED REMOVING THEIR HAZARD AND THE
STRUCTURE WILL HAVE TO BE SECURED BY
BOARDING THE OPENINGS TO NOT ALLOW
ACCESS. THESE ARE THE IMMEDIATE CONCERNS
AND APPROPRIATE ACTIONS SHOULD BE TAKEN
IMMEDIATEY.
NEEDED REPAIRS TO THE PLUMBING, ELECTRIC
AND A/C SYSTEMS WILL REQUIRE PROPER
PERMITTING AND INSPECTIONS.
