PORTION OF THE SHED IS A PREFABRICATED
SHED STRUCTURE. THIS ORIGINAL SHED HAS
BEEN ADDED ON TO AT THE REAR. THIS
ADDITION IS A WOOD FRAME STRUCTURE THAT
WAS NOT BUILT TO MEET CODE REQUIREMENTS
AND HAS FALLEN INTO DISREPAIR WITH
TERMITE AND WATER DAMAGE TO THE EXTERIOR
WALL SECTIONS. THE EXTERIOR WALLS HAVE
APPARENTLY NEVER BEEN PAINTED OR COVERED
WITH SIDING ONLY TAR PAPERED OVER OSB
SUB-SIDING ALLOWING WATER INTRUSION OVER
TIME AND DAMAGE TO THE STRUCTURAL
INTEGRITY. THERE IS A WINDOW THAT IS
MISSING COMPLETELY AND THE ROOF HAS BEEN
OVERLAYED WITH FELT PAPER TO PATCH THE
ROOF. THE ORIGINAL PREFAB SHED HAS HAD
THE REAR WALL REMOVED TO EXTEND THE SIZE
OF THE SHED INTO THE ADDITION. REMOVAL
OF THIS WALL HAS COMPROMISED THE
STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE PREFAB
PORTION OF THE SHED. THE ENTIRE
STRUCTURE WILL NEED TO BE DEMOLISHED AS
NONE OF IT MEETS CODE REQUIREMENTS AT
THIS TIME AND REHABILITATION OF A PRE
ENGINEERED SHED IS NOT ATTAINABLE AND
THE COST OF REPAIRING THE DAMAGE OF THE
ADDITION WILL FAR EXCEED THE COST OF A
NEW SHED. STRUCTURE WILL HAVE TO BE
REMOVED.
