MOBILE HOME. THIS UNIT WAS BUILT IN
1980 BUT I COULD NOT DETERMINE MODEL OR
MANUFACTURER. IT DOES HAVE HUD DECALS
AND IS LABELED AS HURRICANE RESISTANT
AND SUITABLE FOR WIND ZONE 1. UNITS
HAVE STRUCTURALLY SOUND EXTERIOR WALLS
AND ROOF TRUSS SYSTEM. THE FLOOR HAS
SOME WEAK/SOFT AREAS THAT WILL NEED TO
BE REPLACED. STRUCTURALLY THE UNITS ARE
ACCEPTABLE FOR INSTALLATION BUT THERE
ARE SEVERAL AREAS OF CONCERN WITH
COSMETICS. OWNER INDICATED THAT THEY
WERE PLANNING ON A COMPLETE REMODEL OF
THE UNITS AND THIS WILL NEED TO OCCUR.
THE ROOF HAS AN ALUMINUM PAN ROOF OVER
SYSTEM INSTALLED ON IT THAT HAS SUFFERED
DAMAGE. ALTHOUGH THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF
THE ROOF LEAKING EXCEPT FOR 2 OR 3 AREAS
ALONG THE OPEN SIDES OF THE UNITS AT
THIS TIME THIS ROOF OVER SYSTEM WILL
NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE UNITS HAD
VINYL SIDING INSTALLED OVER THE EXTERIOR
WALLS BUT SECTIONS OF THE VINYL HAVE
BEEN REMOVED OR BLOWN OFF IN TRANSIT.
THE VINYL SIDING WILL HAVE TO BE
REPAIRED OR REPLACED. THE WINDOWS DO
NOT OPERATE OR ARE BROKEN. OWNER STATED
THAT THEY PLANNED TO REPLACE ALL OF THE
WINDOWS WITH NEW. THIS WILL NEED TO
OCCUR. THE BELLY PAPER AND INSULATION
UNDER UNITS HAS BEEN REPAIRED AND IS IS
ACCEPTABLE CONDITION. THE FLOOR IN THE
HATER HEATER COMPARTMENT IS ROTTED AND
WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACED. MANY OF THE
INTERIOR WALLS HAVE THE PANELING REMOVED
AND MANY OF THE ELECTRICAL OUTLETS ARE
HANGING OUT OF THE WALLS. THE
ELECTRICAL PANEL COVER IS NOT SECURED
PROPERLY TO THE PANEL BOX AND THERE ARE
OPEN BREAKER SPACES THAT WILL NEED TO
HAVE BLANKS INSTALLED. OWNER INDICATED
THAT THE KITCHEN CABINETS WERE TO BE
REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH NEW SO THE
PLUMBING IN THE KITCHEN AREA WILL NEED
TO BE INSPECTED DURING REMODEL. CENTRAL
AIR AND HEAT(IF INSTALLED)WILL REQUIRE
INSPECTION OF DUCTWORK TO ENSURE
INTEGRITY. A MOBILE HOME INSTALLATION
PERMIT WILL BE REQUIRED FROM QUALIFIED
MOBILE HOME INSTALLER. THEN AN INTERIOR
REMODEL PERMIT FOR THE INTERIOR REMODEL
WORK WILL BE REQUIRED ALONG WITH
PLUMBING AND ELECTRIC SUB-PERMITS.
MECHANICAL PERMIT IF A/C SYSTEM IS
INSTALLED. I WILL ALLOW THE REROOF TO BE
DONE UNDER THE INTERIOR REMODEL PERMIT
IN THIS SITUATION. SMOKE DETECTORS AND
GFCI PROTECTED OUTLETS IN THE KITCHEN
AND BATHROOMS WILL NEED TO BE INSTALLED.
