COMPLAINT. THIS IS A LOG STRUCTURE WITH
SHINGLED ROOF. THE STRUCTURE IS IN
DISREPAIR WITH AGED SHINGLES AND ROTTED
LOGS IN THE EXTERIOR ENVELOPE. THE
SHINGLES ARE IN TACT BUT COULD NOT
DETERMINE IF WATER INTRUSION HAS OCCURED
DUE TO NOT HAVING ACCESS TO INTERIOR OF
BUILDING. FROM EXTERIOR INSPECTION
SEVERAL OF THE LOGS HAVE DETERIORATED
AND ROTTED FROM LACK OF MAINTENENCE.
THEY ARE NOT ROTTED COMPLETELY THROUGH
TO INTERIOR BUT ARE TO POINT OF
STRUCTURALLY QUESTIONABLE. REPAIRS WILL
NEED TO BE MADE SOON TO AVOID
COMPROMISING STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF
ENTIRE STRUCTURE. THE STRUCTURE IS NOT A
HAZARD AT THIS TIME AS IT IS SECURED
WITH NO ACCESS, WINDOWS AND DOORS ARE IN
PLACE AND LOCKED SHUT AND BUILDING IS
NOT IN FEAR OF COLLAPSE. THE "LEAN-TO:
METAL ROOF ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE
BUILDING DOES NOT MEET CODE REQUIREMENTS
AND WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED. AT THIS
TIME THE STRUCTURE IS NOT A SAFETY
HAZARD BUT DOES NEED SOME MAINTENENCE
AND REPAIR WORK COMPLETED BEFORE
STRUCTURAL STABILITY IS COMPROMISED.
