WHERE THE TENANT SHOWED ME A LEAK THAT HAS BEEN
GOING FOR 3 YEARS ACCORDING TO HER. IF YA?LL COULD
DO AN INSPECTION OF THE ROOF AND FORWARD ME A COPY
THAT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED . THE TENANTS
NAME IS ANNETTE SCHUMAN SHE IS AN ELDERLY LADY AND
IS THERE MOST THE DAY.I?M THINKING IT MAY NEED TO
BE CONDEMNED IF THE IT HAS BEEN LEAKING FOR THREE
YEARS. THE OWNER IS RICHARD J LAUB AND HIS NUMBER

CAUSED BY POST BEING DISLODGED FROM
CONCRETE SLAB AND BEARING ON GRADE
BESIDE CONCRETE. ALSO OBSERVED PORTION
OF CEILING COLLAPSED IN BEDROOM AREA
FROM WATER INTRUSION. VISUAL INSPECTION
THROUGH HOLE IN CEILING SHOWED NO
STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO THE CEILING FRAMING
SYSTEM ONLY WATER DAMAGE TO THE DRYWALL
CEILING CAUSING COLLAPSE. VISUAL
INSPECTION OF THE SHINGLED AREA OF THE
ROOF OVER THE HOUSE PROPER SHOWED AGED
SHINGLES IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT BUT NO
SAGGING OR SIGNS OF DISTRESS IN THE
STRUCTURE OF THE ROOF FRAMING. THE FLAT
ROOF PORTION OVER THE CARPORT NEEDS
IMMEDIATE REPLACEMENT WHICH WILL REQUIRE
PERMITTING AND INSPECTION OF DECKING AND
STRUCTURAL SUPPORT SYSTEM INCLUDING
POSTS AND BEAM CONNECTION.
