COMPLAINT FROM DCF ABOUT RENTAL UNIT. TENANT
COMPLAINT, ONLY ABOUT HALF OF THE ELCTRICITY WORKS
IN THE HOUSE, THE BREAKERS KEEP TRIPPING, THEY
CANT USE THE REFRIGERATOR; THERE WAS A LEAK IN
THE BATHROOM AT THE SHUT OFF VALVE, LEAK WAS
REPAIED BUT THE WATER DAMAGE WAS NEVER FIXED,
THERE ARE FIVE CHILDREN IN THE HOME AND THEY ARE
WORRIED IT IS UNSAFE. THE LANDLORD WILL NOT FIX
IT.

THEY INDICATED THE FOLLOWING ISSUES,
BREAKERS IN THE PANEL BOX KEEP TRIPPING
TO OFF POSITION, KITCHEN CABINET HAS
LARGE HOLE IN THE BACK PORTION FROM
PLUMBING REPAIR, THE VINYL FLOORING IN
THE HOUSE HAS COME UP DUE TO THE HOUSE
FLOODING WHEN THEY TURNED THE WATER ON
WITH OPEN PIPING, THE WATER SUPPLY TO
THE TOILET LEAKS AND TENANT HAS TO TURN
ON AND OFF TO USE THE TOILET, THE
BATHROOM CABINET ALSO HAS A HOLE IN THE
BACK WALL FROM THE PLUMBING REPAIR AND
THE CARPET IN THE BEDROOMS HAS MOLD
GROWTH CAUSED FROM THE FLOODING.
REPAIRS NEED TO BE MADE WITHIN 30 DAYS
AND WILL REQUIRE A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN
TO PULL A PERMIT AND INVESTIGATE THE
ELECTRICAL ISSUES. THE #5 BREAKER IS
THE MAIN PROBLEM AND IS PROBABLY AN
OVERLOADED CIRCUIT. THERE IS ALSO
"DRAPED" WIRING IN THE ENTRY ROOM THAT
WILL NEED TO BE COVERED OR REMOVED.
THE
VINYL FLOORING NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED OR
REPLACED AND THE CARPETING WILL NEED TO
BE CLEANED TO REMOVE THE MOLD OR
REPLACED. HOLES IN THE CABINETS WILL
NEED TO BE REPAIRED TO SEAL INSECT AND
RODENT ACCESS.
