INVESTIGATION OF WATER INTRUSION AND TO
FIX THE FRONT PORCH LIGHT.
03-12-201509:40 AMINITIAL INSPECTIONMADE SITE VISIT AND MET WITH TENANT.
TENANT EXPRESSED THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS,
OUTLET ON FRONT WALL OF LIVING ROOM AREA
DOES NOT WORK AND THE LIGHT ON THE FRONT
PORCH DOES NOT WORK. WHEN IT RAINED
THERE WAS WATER INTRUSION IN THE SOUTH
WALL OF THE STRUCTURE, THERE IS A HOLE
IN THE KITCHEN WALL IN THE CORNER BY THE
RANGE OUTLET, THE VENEER ON THE BEDROOM
DOOR HAD SEPARATED FROM THE DOOR FRAME,
THE TOILET HAD BEEN REPAIRED BUT NOW
TOOK MULTIPLE FLUSHES TO CLEAR, THAT
THEY HAD HAD SOME BEES IN THE HOUSE AND
THAT A WOOD WINDOW SILL WAS SPLIT. I
EXPLAINED THAT THE DELAMINATED DOOR, ONE
OUTLET NOT WORKING, A SPLIT WINDOW SILL,
A TOILET THAT HAD TO BE FLUSHED TWICE
AND HAVING BEES IN THE HOUSE WERE NOT
CODE VIOLATIONS UNLESS THEY WERE
INFESTED WITH BEES. HOUSING CODE DOES
REQUIRE AN EXIT LIGHT AT THE FRONT
ENTRY, A HOLE IN THE WALL AROUND WIRING
TO BE PATCHED AND AN INVESTIGATION OF
THE WATER INTRUSION THROUGH THE EXTERIOR
WALL. THESE THREE CONCERNS WILL NEED TO
BE ADDRESSED AND RECTIFIED.
