AND WOMAN LIVING IN RESIDENCE. THEY WERE
COURTEOUS AND POLITE AND GRANTED ACCESS.
SENCE THAT THEY WERE EXPECTING
INSPECTION AS THEY EXPRESSED THEIR
DESIRE TO LIVE OUT THEIR FINAL DAYS IN
THIS HOME. HOME IS A SINGLE WIDE TRAILER
UNIT WITH A WOOD FRAME ADDITION ON THE
REAR. UPON ENTERING THE TRAILER PORTION
OF THE RESIDENCE I OBSERVED MASSIVE
CLUTTER IN MAIN LIVING ROOM AND BOTH
BEDROOMS RENDERING THEM UNUSABLE. THIS
AREA OF THE RESIDENCE IS BASICALLY USED
FOR STORAGE OF OLD BELONGINGS.
THE INTERIOR DOORS ARE INTACT WITH
WORKING
HARDWARE AS I HAD NO PROBLEM ENTERING
AND DOING VISUALE INSPECTION OF EACH
ROOM BUT WAS UNABLE TO THROUGHLY
INSPECT INTERIOR OF WINDOWS BECAUSE OF
STORAGE ITEMS. I CHECKED EACH ROOM AND
WAS
ABLE TO ILLUMINATE EVERY ROOM BY WALL
SWITCHES AND CEILING MOUNTED LIGHT
FIXTURES. THE CEILING SHOWED SIGNS OF
MAJOR WATER INTRUSION IN AREAS AS THE
DRYWALL CEILING HAS STAINS AND HAS
FALLEN IN AREAS EXPOSING ROOF FRAMING
AND EXPOSURE TO EXTERIOR ENVIRONMENT.
THE FLOOR IS INTACT AS FAR AS I WAS
ABLE TO ASERTAIN BUT IS SLOPED AND
SWAYED
DUE TO AGE OF STRUCTURAL FRAMING. THE
KITCHEN WAS CLUTTERED WITH POTS AND
PANS AND GENERALLY UNSANITARY. MOVING TO
THE REAR ADDITION AREA I OBSERVED MORE
CLUTTER BUT NOT AS BAD AS THIS IS THE
AREA THAT THEY ARE USING TO LIVE IN. I
OBSERVED A FUNCTIONAL BATHROOM IN THIS
AREA BUT AGAIN IT WAS GENERALLY
UNSANITARY. RETURNING OUTSIDE THERE
ARE MAJOR STRUCURAL DEFICIENCIES IN THE
WALLS OF THE TRAILER PORTION OF THE
RESIDENCE RESULTING FROM HOLES IN THE
SIDING ALLOWING WATER INTRUSION INTO
THE FRAMING STRUCTURE. EXTERIOR
OBSERVATION OF THE WINDOWS REVEALED
GLASS INTACT,NO SCEENS PRESENT AND
WINDOWS BEING
INOPERABLE BECAUSE THE AWNING WINDOW
OPERATING MECHANISMS ARE VISIBLY
NONFUNCTIONAL. WINDOWS WERE IN CLOSED
POSITION AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND WERE
NOT WEATHER TITE NOR INSECT PROOF.
REAR ADDITION AREA HAS NEWER SINGLE
HUNG
WINDOWS WHICH WERE IN THE CLOSED
POSITION AND WEATHER TITE AND INSECT
RETARDENT BUT I WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE
IF THEY WERE OPERABLE. CLIMBED LADDER TO
INSPECT ROOF OF STRUCTURE. TRAILER
PORTION OF RESIDENCE HAS AND ALUMINUM
ROOF-OVER APPLICATION THAT APPEARS
OLD/NOT RECENTLY INSTALLED. THE ROOF
ON THE REAR ADDITION AREA IS A SHINGLED
ROOF ON WOOD FRAMING. IT HAS A ONE
HOLE IN THE EDGE SOFFIT AREA AND THE
FRAMING
HAS SAGGED CAUSING SWAY IN THE ROOF
PLANE. OBSERVED HOT WATER HEATER AT REAR
OF STRUCTURE SITTING ON THE GROUND
WITHOUT SUPPORT. THERE ARE SEVERAL
ACCESSORY STRUCTURES NONE OF WHICH MEET
CODE COMPLIANCE AND WILL NEED TO BE
REMOVED. GROUNDS AROUND STRUCTURE ARE
SEVERLY UNKEPT WITH WEEDS, TRASH AND
MORE GENERAL CLUTTER.
