DR.LAKE PLACID TO DISCUSS PROBLEMS WITH
ROOF. THIS IS A STANDING SEAM ROOF
INSTALLED IN 2004 WHEN HOUSE WAS
CONSTRUCTED. MR. BAYNE EXPRESSED THAT
SEVERAL LEAKS HAD DEVELOPED AND WAS
CONCERNED ABOUT THE INSTALLATION. IN
2004 WE DID NOT REQUIRE A SEPERATE
PERMIT FOR METAL ROOFS THEREFORE WE HAVE
NO RECOD OF A FINAL INSPECTION ON THE
ROOF ITSELF OTHER THAN THE FINAL
INSPECTION ON THE ENTIRE HOUSE PERMIT.
THE ROOF APPEARS TO BE STRUCTURALLY
SOUND BUT, AS EVIENCED BY STAINS IN THE
CEILING, HAS SOME AREAS OF WATER
INTRUSION. WE ADVIZED MR. BAYNE TO
CONSULT WITH HIS GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND
HIS ROOFING CONTRACOR AS TO WARRANTY
REPAIR POSSIBILITIES.
