07-07-201404:17 PMINITIAL INSPECTIONVIOLATES 12.19.500: THIS IS AN OLD WOOD
FRAME BUILDING IN BAD CONDITION. THE
FRONT PORCH FLOOR HAS A LAYER OF PLYWOOD
OVER THE ROTTEN FLOOR JOISTS. THE PIERS
ARE TIPPING OVER DUE TO LACK OF SUPPORT
FROM THE FLOOR FRAMING. THE ELECTRIC
PANEL IS MISSING THE DEAD FRONT COVER SO
THE BUS BAR IS EXPOSED AND CREATES A
VERY DANGEROUS CONDITION. THE SIDE
WALLS ARE ROTTEN AND TERMITE EATEN AS
ARE THE FLOOR JOISTS IN THE MAIN HOUSE.
THE REAR PORCH IS SAGGING DUE TO ROTTEN
AND UNDER SIZED RAFTERS. THE STUDS ARE
ROTTEN AT THE BOTTOM AND ARE NOT
CONNECTED TO ANYTHING. THE FLOOR SLOPES
FROM THE MIDDLE PIERS DOWN TO THE
OUTSIDE WALLS. THERE ARE SEVERAL AREAS
THAT ARE ROTTEN AND TERMITE EATEN,
WEAKING THE STRENGTH OF THE FLOOR SYSTEM
AND RAFTERS. THE ROOF LEAKS AND HAS
ROTTED THE RAFTERS ESPECIALLY IN THE
SOUTH BEDROOM. DUE TO THE UNSAFE
CONDITION OF THE STRUCTURE I RECOMMEND
REMOVAL FROM THE SITE.
