THE LANDWARD PORTION. FROM VISUAL
INSPECTION FROM LAND THIS DOCK APPEARS
TO BE IN SERIOUS DISREPAIR AND SHOULD
BE REMOVED COMPLETELY. THE DOCK TO THE
NORTH IS ACCESSIBLE. THIS IS ALSO AN
OLDER DOCK AND WALKWAY THAT IS IN FAIR
CONDITION. THE DECKING IS OLD AND
WEATHERED BUT INTACT. THE PILINGS AND
STRINGER SYSTEM APPEAR TO BE
STRUCTURALLY SOUND. THE RAILING NEEDS
TO BE STRENGTHENED IN A COUPLE OF
AREAS.
THIS DOCK IS IN USABLE CONDITION AND IS
NOT A SAFETY HAZARD BUT DOES NEED SOME
MAINTENANCE.

BOARDS. THERE IS NO VIOLATION AT THIS
ONE. THE NORTH DOCK HAS HAD
APPROXIMATELY 14-15 FOOT ADDED TO THE
OLD DOCK. THIS WOULD REQUIRE A PERMIT
AND APPROVAL FROM DEP. THIS PERMIT
NEEDS TO BE OBTAINED ASAP TO PREVENT
FINES FROM ADDING TO THE COST OF THE
PERMIT. THERE IS ALSO A PIECE OF ROMEX
WIRE RUNNING DOWN THE SIDE OF THE DOCK.
NEC REQUIRES THE WIRE TO BE
"PROTECTED",
PLACED IN A CONDUIT PIPE. ALSO THE
RECEPTACLE HAS TO BE GFI PROTECTED BY A
BREAKER OR GFI RECEPTACLE. THE WIRE
ALSO IS NOW UNDERWATER AT ONE POINT AND
NEEDS TO BE RERUN TO LIFT IT OUT OF THE
WATER. THIS CIRCUIT THAT FEEDS THIS
LIGHT AND RECEPTACLE HAS TO BE SHUT OFF
