TENANT WHO LIVES HERE HAS LOTS OF CATS INSIDE THE
HOME AND THE HOUSE IS IN BAD SHAPE. SOME PLUMBING
DOESN'T WORK, HOUSE IS COVERED IN FECES AND VERY
UNSANITARY. SHE IS A CAT RESCUE PERSON AND DOESN'T
HAVE THE MEANS TO TAKE CARE OF THEM ALL OR THE
HOUSE. THIS IS A RENTAL. SOMEONE TRIED TO COME
HELP HER CLEAN THE HOUSE AND WAS VERY SURPRISED OF
THE WAY THE HOME LOOKED. NO ONE SHOULD LIVE LIKE
THIS.

HAVE OVERGROWN WEEDS AS HIGH AS THE 4'
CHAINLINK FENCE AND THE INTERIOR, FROM
LOOKING THROUGH THE OPEN FRONT DOOR,
APPEARS TO BE UNKEPT AND UNSANITARY.
OCCUPANT APPARENTLY DOES NOT MAINTAIN
SANITARY CONDITIONS IN THE HOME OR CARE
OF THE PREMISES BUT STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY
OF THE HOUSE IS NOT COMPROMISED.

WAS WORKING. THE COUNTER IS BROKEN, THE
CABINET DOOR IS BROKEN AND FILTHY IN
KITCHEN AND ON THE COUNTERS, FLOORS,
WALLS AND FLIES ALL OVER THE ROOM. THERE
IS A BROKEN WINDOW IN FRONT RIGHT NEXT
TO FRONT DOOR, WHICH SHE HAS CARDBOARD
TAPED TO IT. ADVISED ABOUT THE STENCH IN
THE HOME AND PAT FELT LIKE IT WAS CAT
FOOD CANS THAT WERE IN THE KITCHEN
GARBAGE CANS THAT PROBABLY NEED TO BE
TAKEN OUT TO TRASH. SHE HAS SOMEONE THAT
COMES INTO THE HOME TO CLEAN FOR HER
THAT JUST STARTED 2 WEEKS AGO AND ASKED
FOR CE TO GIVE HER TIME TO GET MORE
CLEANED UP. PAT THINKS THE HOME IS
CLEANER THAN WHEN THE BLD OFFICIAL CAME
LAST VISIT. SHE ASKED FOR COUNTY TO NOT
CONDEMN THE HOME, SHE IS HAPPY THERE AND
HAS NO PLACE TO GO AND HAS LOW INCOME.

HELP BARBARA WITH THE PROBLEMS OF THE
HOME AND TENANT. GEORGE HAS SPOKE WITH
AN ATTORNEY WHO TOLD HIM THAT IT IS
EXPENSIVE TO GO THROUGH EVICTION THROUGH
THE COURT SYSTEM AND HE ADVISED THE
OWNER TO JUST HAVE CE GO AND CONDEMN THE
HOME AND BOARD IT UP AND TELL THE TENANT
TO LEAVE. EXPLAINED TO GEORGE THAT CE
DOES NOT DO EVICTION PROCESS, CE IS JUST
WANTING THE HOME TO HAVE REPAIRS AND BE
HABITABLE AGAIN. HE UNDERSTANDS BUT
FEELS THE HOME IS NOT HABITABLE WITH THE
FILTH AND CATS THERE, WOULD LIKE CE TO
LOOK AT IT AGAIN AND SEE IF HABITABLE
AND IF NOT CONDEMN THE HOME. ONCE THE
TENANT IS GONE THEN THE OWNER WILL
EITHER DEMOLISH THE HOME OR SEE IF IT
CAN BE REPAIRED. ADVISED GEORGE AND
BARBARA THAT CE WOULD GET WITH THE BLD
OFFICIAL ASK HIM TO LOOK BACK AT THE
REPORT AND ONCE ANSWERS WILL RETURN A
CALL TO THEM THIS WEEK. ALSO GAVE

CLERK OF COURTS TO ASK THEM HERSELF WHAT

THIS IS A CONCRETE BLOCK HOME IN VERY
POOR SANITARY CONDITION. THERE ARE BAGS
OF ROLLS AND BREAD LYING ALL OVER THE
FLOORS AND THE CATS ARE IN ALL PARTS OF
THE HOME. THE KITCHEN CABINETS ARE
FALLING APART AND THE KITCHEN SINK HAS
FALLEN OUT OF THE CABINET IT WAS IN.
THERE IS NO WATER IN THE KITCHEN AND THE
KITCHEN SINK HAS BROKEN THE DRAIN PIPE
OFF. THE HOUSE IS STILL STRUCTURALLY
SOUND BUT IS NOT FIT TO BE LIVED IN DUE
TO THE RODENTS, TRASH, AND FECES IN THE
HOME. THE HOME WILL NEED A THROUGH
CLEANING AND PAINTING BEFORE OCCUPIED
AGAIN.
