STATED THAT THE ROOF OVER THE BOAT DOCK OF THIS
PROPERTY IS A SAFETY HAZARD AND THAT BOARDS ARE
FLYING OFF OF IT. YOU CAN REACH MR. KERNEY AT
465-5023 AND STATED THAT THE OFFICER CAN VIEW THE
BOAT DOCK ROOF FROM HIS PROPERTY. HE STATED THAT
AN INSPECTOR TOLD HIM TO CALL CODE ENFORCEMENT AS

I REINSPECTED THIS PROPERTY AND FOUND
THE DOCK HAS BEEN REPAIRED. THIS NOW
ALLOWED ACCESS TO THE BOATHOUSE AREA.
MOST OF THE ROOF SHEATHING HAS ROTTED
AND HAS BEEN BLOWN OFF BY THE WIND. THE
SHEATHING THAT IS LEFT IS VERY ROTTEN
AND IS SAGGING BETWEEN THE ROOF RAFTERS.
THE POSTS AND BEAMS ARE IN GOOD
CONDITION AS ARE THE RAFTERS. THE OWNER
NEEDS TO HAVE THE OLD SHEATHING REMOVED
AND NEW SHEATHING INSTALLED ALONG WITH
THE NEW ROOF COVERING. THE BOATHOUSE AS
IT IS NOW IS AN UNSAFE STRUCTURE AND
MUST BE REPAIRED OR REMOVED FROM THE
PROPERTY.

NEEDS TO HAVE ALL THE SHEATHING REMOVED
& NEW SHEATHING APPLIED WITH NEW ROOF
COVERING. ONCE THE DOCK IS REPAIRED I
CAN INSPECT THE ROOF RAFTERS TO SEE IF
THEY ARE STILL IN GOOD ENOUGH CONDITION
FOR THE NEW SHEATHING & ROOF. AS IT IS
NOW THIS IS AN UNSAFE STRUCTURE & IF IT
IS NOT GOING TO BE REPAIRED WITHIN 30
DAYS IT MUST BE REMOVED.
