SHED WAS PUT ON PROPERTY IN 1997 WITHOUT A PERMIT
THE SHED IS 1.5' ON NEIGHBORS PROPERTY. THIS SHED
ALSO HAS ELECTRIC WITHOUT A PERMIT, THIS WAS FOUND
OUT AS NEIGHBOR WENT TO PUT A FENCE ON HER
PROPERTY AND THE SURVEY THAT SHE HAS FROM HER
CLOSING SHOWS THE SHED 1.5' ON HER PROPERTY. SHE
HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET HER PERMIT DUE TO THE
SHED OWNER NOT REMOVING THE SHED FROM HER
PROPERTY. HAS SPOKEN TO THE SHED OWNER SEVERAL
TIMES AND WAS TOLD IT IS TOO COSTLY. HAS ALSO
SPOKEN TO CITY OF AP ZONING [WES] @ CITY AND TO
CODE
ENFORCEMENT [DONALD SIMMONS] HE TOLD BOTH PROPERTY
OWNERS TO CALL H.COUNTY BUILDING DEPT.

SMALL ENCLOSURE HAS BEEN BUILT UNDER AN
EXISTING CARPORT COVER. THE ENCLOSURE
IS ABOUT 4X8X5 AND ONLY 30"HIGH. NO ONE
WAS HOME BUT I WILL CALL LATER TODAY AND
TRY TO MAKE CONTACT.
06-28-201101:18 PMUPDATE/NOTESRECEIVED COMPLAINT AGAIN FROM NEIGHBOR,
THE LADY MOVED HER SHED SO THE NEIGHBOR
COULD BUILD A FENCE FOR THE DOG, THE
FENCE HAS NOT BEEN BUILT AND THE DOG IS
DOING BAD, EVERYONE TELLS THEM THAT
BUILDING DEPT IS IN CHARGE OF THIS
PROBLEM.
07-07-201004:43 PMSTANDARD HOUSING CODEI MET WITH MRS. CALLEJAS AND DISCUSSED
THE PROBLEM WITH THE SHED ENCROACHING ON
HER PROPERTY. SHE SHOWED ME A COPY OF A
RECENT SURVEY THAT CONFIRMED THE
ENCROACHMENT. I MADE COPIES OF THE
SURVEY AND MET WITH THE NEIGHBOR. SHE
SAID HER HUSBAND HAD THE SHED INSTALLED
MANY YEARS AGO AND UP TO NOW WAS NOT
AWARE OF ANY PROBLEM. I SHOWED HER THE
SURVEY AND THE PROPERTY MARKER IN THE
GROUND. SHE AGREED THE SHED WAS OVER
THE PROPERTY LINE AND WOULD MAKE
ARRANGEMENTS TO MOVE IT OVER ON HER
PROPERTY. I THANKED HER FOR HER
COOPERATION AND THEN NOTIFIED MRS.
CALLEJAS OF THE PLANS TO CORRECT THE
ERROR.
