AND 5.6-2(1) (HIGH GRASS/WEEDS), OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF HIGHLANDS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, WERE FOUND ON THE PROPERTY.
MR. ALLEN TESTIFIED THAT ON NOVEMBER 24,
2009 A NOTICE OF VIOLATION WAS ISSUED,
THE RESPONDENTS WERE GIVEN A REASONABLE
PERIOD OF TIME TO CORRECT THE
VIOLATIONS, THE VIOLATIONS CONTINUED
BEYOND THE DATE SPECIFIED FOR
CORRECTION; HOWEVER, THE VIOLATIONS HAD
BEEN CORRECTED AS OF THE DATE OF THIS
HEARING. MR. ALLEN TESTIFIED THAT THE
CASE WAS SCHEDULED FOR A PUBLIC HEARING,
AND THE PROPERTY OWNERS, AND ALL
INTERESTED PARTIES WERE PROPERLY
NOTIFIED OF THIS HEARING. THE
PETITIONER REQUESTED A FINE BE IMPOSED
