VIOLATION #436 WAS ISSUED ON SEPTEMBER
16, 2009, THE RESPONDENT WAS GIVEN A
REASONABLE PERIOD OF TIME TO CORRECT THE
VIOLATION, THE VIOLATION CONTINUED

COMMENTS: THIS IS AN OLD ABANDONED WOOD
FRAME RESIDENCE WITH AN ABOVE GRADE
FLOOR AND WOOD RAFTER ROOF SYSTEM. THE
HOME WAS LOCKED SO THERE WAS NO INTERIOR
INSPECTION. THE WEST END OF THE HOME
WAS INVOLVED IN A FIRE IN FEBRUARY 2009.
THERE HAVE BEEN SOME REPAIRS MADE TO
THIS AREA. NEW WOOD SIDING WAS
INSTALLED ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE WALL,
PART OF THE RIM JOIST ON THE FLOOW WAS
REPLACE AND (4) FEET OF THE ROOF WAS
REPLACED WITH NEW SHEATHING AND ROLL
ROOFING. THE FRONT NE CORNER OF THE
HOME IS STARTING TO SINK AS WELL AS THE
SOUTH SIDE OF THE HOME. ALL THE WINDOWS
ARE BOARDED OVER WITH PLYWOOD. THERE
ARE SOME SUPPORTING PIERS UNDER THE
FLOOR THAT ARE BEGINNING TO TILT AND
LOSE SUPPORT DUE TO SAND WASHED OUT FROM
AROUND THEM. WITHOUT ENTERING THE HOME
THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW IF NEW STUDS
WERE REPLACED ON THE WEST END OF THE
HOME OR THE EXACT CONDITION OF THE
FLOORS AND WALLS. THE FRONT PORCH HAS
ROTTEN DECKING ON IT AND THE FRONT STEPS
ARE IN POOR CONDITION. DUE TO THE AGE
OF THE HOME ITS APPARENT CONDITION I
RECOMMEND REMOVAL FROM THE SITE.
