THIS IS A VACANT LOT, CALLER IS BUILDING A HOME
NEXT DOOR TO THIS PROPERTY AT 112 LAGONI LN.
CALLER IS GETTING READY TO DO THE FINAL GRADE ON
HIS PROPERTY, HE IS CONCERNED WITH THE PILE OF
HORTICULTUR DEBRIS THAT WAS LEFT WHEN THE NEIGHBOR
CLEARED THIS LOT. CALLER STATED THAT THE DEBRIS IS
RIGHT UP AGAINST HIS PROPERTY LINE, AND HE FEARS
THAT IT HARBORS VERMIN AND TERMITES. CALLER WAS
NOT HAPPY WHEN I EXPLAINED THE INSPECTION TIME

CONVERSATION, APRIL AND I WENT TO THE
SITE TO VERIFY THAT IT WAS NOT IN
VIOLATION. APRIL AT THAT TIME EXPLAINED
TO ME CLEARING OF LAND PURSUANT TO
STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS LASTS ONE YEAR.
APRIL AND I SPOKE WITH MR. WELCH AND
EXPLAINED THIS IS NOT A CODE VIOLATION.
AND HE STATED THAT THE PROPERTY WAS
CLEARED TWO YEARS AGO. WE SUGGESTED
THAT HE CONTACT THE OWNER AND WORK
SOMETHING OUT./LC

I TOLD HER THAT THE OFFICE HAD CLOSED
THE CASE BECAUSE HE DID NOT FIND
SIGNIFICANT EVIDENCE TO MERIT A
VIOLATION ON THE PROPERTY. SHE BECAME
VERY UPSET, BEGAN YELLING AT ME. I
CAUTIONED THE CALLER TO NOT YELL AT ME
OR I WOULD END THE CALL, SHE APOLOGIZED
BUT THEN CONTINUED YELLING AT ME. SHE
WAS EXTREMELY ANGRY THAT THE OFFICER NOR
THE SUPERVISOR WERE HERE. I TOOK HER
NAME AND NUMBER AND LEFT A MESSAGE FOR
LINDA, SHE WANTS A PHONE CALL RETURNED
TO HER ON MONDAY OR ELSE SHE IS GOING TO
THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR. JOE

COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS PROPERTY, THEY
ARE BUILDING A NEW HOME AND ARE READY TO
DO WORK THAT WOULD REQUIRE DIGGING NEXT
TO THE LOT IN QUESTION AND SHE WANTS
SOMEONE THERE RIGHT AWAY. TRIED TO
EXPLAIN THAT WE WERE SHORT STAFFED AND
THAT IT IS TAKING A WHILE FOR THE
OFFICERS TO GET TO THEIR INITIAL
COMPLAINTS, BUT SHE WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT
HEARING THAT AND SAID THAT THIS TYPE OF
DELAY WAS UNACCEPTABLE. I CONTINUED TO
ATTEMPT TO EXPLAIN TO THE CALLER, BUT
SHE WOULD NOT ALLOW ME THE OPPORTUNITY
TO SPEAK AND REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO THE
SUPERVISOR. JOE
