CALLER STATED THAT THIS HOME IS UNSAFE, THE WHOLE
BACK WALL OF THE HOME HAS BEEN OFF FOR A LONG
TIME. JUST RECENTLY SOMEONE HAS STARTED BUILDING
THE BACK WALL UP AGAIN. THE HOME WAS OPEN TO THE
ELEMENTS, AND MUST HAVE MOLD AND MILDEW. CALLER
FEELS THAT THIS IS AN UNSAFE STRUCTURE. JOE

 ON THE UNIT AT 1510 E. CLARADGE AVE, AVO
 AFTER PEERING THROUGH A WINDOW, I OBSERV
 UNIT WAS GUTTED AND APPEARED TO BE VACAN
 APPROXIMATELY 85% OF THE ORIGINAL BACK W
 REMOVED, THEN RECONSTRUCTED WITH 2X4 LUM
 SHEATHING. NO SIDING HAS BEEN APPLIED TO
 THE FLOOR STRUCTURE HAS BEEN REPAIRED WI
 NON-STRUCTUARAL LUMBER. NEW 3/4" PLYWOOD
 PLACED OVER THE EXISTING FLOOR, BUT NOT
 AT LEAST ONE TRUSS IS ROTTED OFF AT THE
 IS NOT BEARING ON THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED
 THE ROOF OVER TIEDOWN STRAPS HAVE BEEN S
 THE NEW WALL WAS CONSTRUCTED, RENDERING
 SYSTEM USELESS.
 
 A LOT OF THE ELECTRICAL HAS BEEN REMOVED
 SYSTEM IS STILL ACTIVE. SEVERAL ELECTRIC
 VIOLATIONS WERE NOTED ON THE EXTERIOR OF
 WELL AS THE INTERIOR OF THE UNIT AND HAV
 DOCUMENTED PICTORIALLY.
 
 ALL PLUMBING FIXTURES HAVE BEEN REMOVED,
 THE WATER LINES. SOME OF THE DWV LINES H
 REMOVED.
 
 NO CENTRAL HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING
 PRESENT, HOWEVER THERE IS EXISTING DUCTW
 DUCTWORK IS IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE E
 PROBABLY DETERIORATED.
 
 SO FAR, NONE OF THE PROPER PERMITTING HA
 FOR REBUILDING THIS STRUCTURE. IN MY OPI
 OF THIS UNIT IS CONSIDERABLY LESS THAN T
 MAKING IT LIVABLE AGAIN. IT SHOULD BE DE

I HAVE DONE AN INSPECTION OF THE
PROPERTY ON JULY 17, 2009 AND THE
STRUCTURE HAS BEEN REMOVED WHICH IS
GREAT. HOWEVER, IN ORDER TO BRING THE
PROPERTY INTO FULL COMPLIANCE THERE IS
STILL SOME TRASH AND DEBRIS ON THE
PROPERTY THAT NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. YOU
CAN VIEW THIS FROM THE ATTACHED PHOTOS.
THE CONTINUANCE FORM WAS NEVER RECEIVED
AND THE PROPERTY IS OVER DUE FOR
COMPLIANCE. DO YOU KNOW WHEN AND IF
SOMEONE IS GOING TO FINISH REMOVING THE
REST OF THE ITEMS FROM THE PROPERTY?



OUR DEPARTMENT WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH
YOU AND SO FAR YOU HAVE DONE WELL BY
GETTING THE STRUCTURE GONE, BUT THE
PROPERTY NEEDS A LITTLE MORE WORK.

COST OF MAKING IT LIVABLE AGAIN. IT
SHOULD BE DEMOLISHED AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE. THE POWER COMPANY SHOULD BE
CONTACTED TO SHUT OFF THE POWER TO THE
STRUCTURE IMMEDIATELY.
