TURNER, AT HER RENTAL UNIT. THE UNIT IS
A DOUBLE WIDE MOBILE HOME. THE HOME IS
IN NEED OF SEVERAL REPAIRS. MOST OF THE
RECEPTACLES THROUGHOUT THE HOME HAVE NO
FACE PLATES OR COVERS AND SOME ARE
STICKING OUT OF THE WALL. THERE IS A
HOLE UNDER THE CARPET IN THE FLOOR
APPROXIMATELY 12"X12". THERE ARE HOLES
IN THE BATHROOM AND BEDROOM CEILINGS
FROM WATER LEAKS. THERE ARE NO SMOKE
DETECTORS IN THE HOME. THE STEPS
OUTSIDE THE EXTERIOR KITCHEN DOOR HAVE
NO HANDRAIL AND ARE NOT SAFE. THE LID
TO THE SEPTIC TANK IS PARTIALLY OPEN AND
NOT SEALED. MRS. TURNER ALSO STATED
THAT THE GAS RANGE LEAKED AND SHE
CURRENTLY USES A PORTABLE ELECTRIC RANGE
FOR COOKING. I ADVISED MRS. TURNER THAT
THE HOME IS NOT SAFE TO OCCUPY IN ITS
CURRENT CONDITION AND SHE SHOULD NOT
STAY IN THE HOME UNTIL THE REQUIRED
REPAIRS ARE COMPLETE. I ALSO ADVISED
HER THAT THE LANDLORD WOULD BE CONTACTED
AND GIVEN TEN DAYS TO COMPLETE THE
REPAIRS. THIS HOME IN ITS CURRENT
CONDITION IS NOT SAFE TO OCCUPY AND
POSES A HEALTH AND SAFETY HAZARD.
