INSPECTED ON 4 PREVIOUS OCCASSIONS. THE
HOME IS IN VERY POOR CONDITION. MOST OF
THE EXTERIOR WINDOWS ARE GONE AND
BOARDED UP WITH PLYWOOD. THE ROOF IS
COVERED WITH A TARP. THE EAST AND WEST
EXTERIOR WALLS ARE SEVERLY ROTTED AND
ARE NOT STRUCTURALLY SOUND. THE ROOF
SYSTEM IS SAGGING AND NOT STRUCTURALLY
SOUND. THE INTERIOR WALLS ARE ALSO
ROTTED AND STAINED WITH MILDEW FROM
WATER EXPOSURE. THE ELECTRICAL WIRING
IS NOT TO CODE AND SEVERAL RECEPTACLES
ARE LOOSE FROM THE WALL. THE TENANT IS
USING A PORTABLE ELECTRIC STOVE FOR
COOKING. THERE IS NO RANGE IN THE
KITCHEN. THIS HOME IS NOT REPAIRABLE.
THE HOME HAS CONTINUED TO DECLINE IN
CONDITION WITH NO REPAIRS BEING DONE
FROM ANY PREVIOUS INSPECTIONS. THE COST
TO REPAIR THE HOME TO CODE WOULD EXCEED
THE VALUE OF THE HOME. THIS RESIDENCE
NEEDS TO BE DEMOLISHED. I SPOKE TO THE
TENANT, MRS. JOYCE CHANNELL AND ADVISED
HER THAT SHE NEEDED TO MOVE OUT AS SOON
AS POSSIBLE AND THAT THE HOME IS NOT
SAFE TO OCCUPY. I ALSO SPOKE TO THE
HOMEOWNER MR. DAN MITCHELL. HE ADVISED
ME THAT HE WAS GOING TO HAVE THE
ELECTRIC CUT-OFF AND HAVE THE HOME
REMOVED WITHIN 45 DAYS.
