JIM SELKE RECEIVED COMPLAINT FROM CARL COOL.
POOL WATER IS CLEAN, POOL ITSELF IS DIRTY. IT
APPEARS THAT THE WATER HAS BEEN TREATED AND NO
MOSQUITOES BREEDING. THERE ARE FOUR GATES AND A
FENCE AROUND THE POOL. THREE OF THE GATES HAVE
PADLOCKS ON THEM AND ARE LOCKED. THE LARGE GATE TO
DRIVE A CARE THRU ONLY HAS A STRING HOLDING IT
SHUT AND GATE IS IN BAD REPAIR. CODE OFFICER WIRED
GATE SHUT. THERE ARE BUCKETS AND PLASTIC LAYING
AROUND YARD THAT MOSQUITOES COULD BREED IN. YARD
NEEDS TO BE CUT IN THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY. ALL
THE JUNK AND TRASH NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP. CODE
ENFORCEMENT NEEDS TO DEAL WITH THIS.

AT THE SITE TO DISCUSS REPAIRS NEEDED TO
THE ROOF. THE OLD "BLUE TARP" HAS BEEN
REMOVED AND THE ROOF IS COMPLETELY DRIED
IN WITH FELT. I DISCUSSED THE NEED TO
HAVE THE ROOFING CONTRACTOR PULL A
PERMIT TO FINISH THE ROOF AND THE OWNER
AGREED. I ALSO DISCUSSED THE NEEDED
REPAIRS TO EXISTING ROOF RAFTERS TO MEET
SPAN REQUIREMENTS. OWNER IS TO HAVE
PLAN DRAWN TO SHOW NEEDED CHANGES AND
INTERIOR WALL CHANGES. OWNER WILL HAVE
THE CONTRACTOR PERMIT THE JOB WHEN PLANS
ARE APPROVED.

THE PROPERTY AND LEFT MY PHONE NUMBER

02-27-200709:01 AMINITIAL INSPECTIONBOTH GABLE ENDS ON ROOF ARE EXPOSED AND
ROTTING. THE VENTS ON GABLE ENDS ARE
MISSING. THE ROOF LUMBER AT GABLE ENDS
IS ROTTING AND APPEARS TO BE ROTTED
UNDER THE ROOF STRUCTURE, SOME LUMBER IS
MISSING AND COVERED WITH TARPS. MOST
OF
THE ROOF HAS BEEN DRYED IN, APPEARS TO
HAVE BEEN DONE SOME TIME AGO. YOU CAN
SEE THRU THE FRONT WINDOW ROOF SHINGLES
AND TAR SUPPLIES ARE INSIDE THE HOUSE.
AT THE REAR OF THE HOUSE THE FLAT DECK
ROOF IS ROTTED. THERE ARE TARPS AND
SHINGLES LAYING ALL OVER THE BACK YARD.
HOUSE DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE
ELECTRICITY. IT APPEARS THAT SOMEONE
MAY BE STAYING AT THIS RESIDENCE. ONE
WINDOW PAYNE IS MISSING, ALL OTHER
WINDOWS AND DOORS ARE SECURE. GARAGE
AREA HAS BEEN ENCLOSED AT SOMETIME IN
THE PAST. MOST OF THE INSIDE WALLS HAVE
BEEN STRIPPED OUT AND WIRING IS
EXPOSED,
SOME NOT EVEN CONNECTED. THEY HAVE
STARTED INSULATING THE OUTSIDE WALLS.
APPEARS THAT NEW PLUMBING FIXTURES ARE
BEING INSTALLED. THE HOUSE IS IN
GENERAL CLEAN ORDER ON THE INSIDE. MOST
OF THE CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS ARE STORED
INSIDE OF THE HOME.
WILL POST UNSAFE STRUCTURE NOTICE. IT
IS REPAIRABLE, NEEDS TO GET PROPER
PERMITS AND HAVE INSPECTIONS.
